Deadlock is good because she forces players to creep around. She holds off angles great because of this. Then the wall is so versatile. The enemies think twice about shooting it down and many times just change their path. I set traps on those paths and I'm always trying to be there for the kill. Then the GravNet is just amazing. I love this character she changed the game for me

Goes to show how bad Deadlock is rn. She needs some buffs to properly function as a sentinel. My ideas: 1. Instead of her Sonic Sensors, her Barrier Mesh could be buffed to be used as an antiflank, but it needs some changing. It should last till the end of rounds instead of thirty seconds, so you can deploy it prior to execution. Deadlock herself should be able to recognize when her Barrier Mesh is broken by the enemy via voicelines (they broke my barrier!). Her teammates should be able to pass through her Barrier Mesh but be slowed for a few seconds after they pass through it (so that it's not too OP). 2. Her Sonic Sensors should be her signature ability instead of her Barrier Mesh, and it should be treated like a Sage Slow Orb. Deadlock can use her Sonic Sensors to slow down retakes at the funnel instead of watching flank miserably. 3. The Gravnet is very situational, but I don't think it needs much changing since she is a Sentinel after all, i.e. not expected to be first contact nor entry. It could maybe last longer instead, for stalling the enemy execute. Big ups to Royal, who proved to us (and Riot) how bad the agent is. This was a really long roller coaster. He really knows how Sentinels should be played and that is really the main reason this was achievable (along with those crazily good mechanics that most of us wish we had). On a side note, what about a Controller with healing abilities? Like, when the teammate stands in their smoke, they get some heals? Would be an interesting take I think, since we already have a healing Sentinel and Initiator.

I use deadlock time to time, and I think she is way too situational, and not providing enough support, sure I get it it’s a Reactive sentinel, but imo riot should just buff the net and the trip, the wall and ult seems fine.
