I built my supports dps from the very beginning because you can freely use crit rate on slot 4 without sacrificing anything since most of the important main stats they need are all on slot 6. They don't even need crazy crit rolls and it has been so useful. 🤣

Deadly Assault is legit super hard, not in a 'the boss will take you out' way, but in a 'you can't do enough damage to three-star it' way. I only managed the full 20k points on Pompey with Lighter/Lucy/Soldier 11. Both Marionette and Bringer were one-star clears, even with mostly built characters. I've built up Lycaon and Soukaku some more since my last attempt at Bringer, so I might give it another shot with my ColdFlash team (Lycaon/Soukau/Miyabi) and see if I can at least pull two stars on that stage. Also, pro tip that I discovered by accident and I'm sure everyone else already knew: Soukaku does MAD anomaly buildup with her EX special spam, making her like a pseudo-anomaly character, which in turn makes her a really strong support for Miyabi, Yanagi and Burnice who all like to proc disorder as much as possible. That said, my Soukaku is still built as a crit DPS because her crit damage goes brrr. I'm firmly convinced you can build literally any character in the game as a crit DPS and they'll clear content cause so far I have yet to encounter one who doesn't do very respectable damage when fully built. It may not always be optimal, but it's always possible.

Deadly Assault is just a DPS Check and a Team Check in simple terms. If you want to rip your hair out .Try out Lost Void Difficulty 9 and try to fight Red Pompey ( usually on the 2 floor/ 2nd boss before the final boss), but your Name is Kets, so you should be fine.

Deadly Assault is in my opinion the best endgame out of any gacha game ever made. The skill gap for how clean of a clear you can get is insane, you can kill the boss with enough damage and determination, you don't need all stars for maximum polychrome so it's accessible. At first people thought that only with all M6, bugatti guchi tier investment you can kill the bosses, now there's people sweeping them with MO Miyabi using Nicole and Lucy. I've seen Miyabi solos, I've seen Billy solos, I saw a goddamn Soukaku solo clearing 20k points and it's not with some cracked out builds but pure raw skill. Lowkey Ket's could 1000% full clear with his account, it just takes an insane amount of optimization, trial and error and determination

Deadly assault it's basically a mold to test your DPS and your team synergy. Put together a team see how much damage you can do then see if you can outdo that damage with another team

I hope next update they put all 3 new enchanced lost void boss (red pompey, solo ballerina, and the red mech) in deadly assault and revamp every boss for this mod. And maybe the amount of score is 50:50 damage:mechanic.

I think the misconception about this mode is that it's purely a dps check. You can brute force the mode easily with high dps, but even with lower dps teams you can still get high points if you read the conditions attached since the bosses that allow you to do gain more points. The marionette wants you to destroy as many of the clones as possible (easily done with dodge counters), pompei wants frequent anomaly procs, and lastly bringer just wants you to successfully break the arm. While yes it rewards high dps, for those who pay attention and adjust their strategies accordingly rather than playing the mode the exact same as all of the others, s ranks are possible without the most cracked teams and characters. I mean I've seen people solo with a rank characters in this mode and still get an s. While the mode is by no means perfect, i think that misinterpretation of the intended design to say its a dps check purely. All that being said, I'm basically saying you don't need to max your characters to get an s. Just adjust the way you address each boss

The one that's a dps check is Bringer, you basically need a built miyabi with the ultimate and stuff charged already to try to kill the hand in time

Just need to manage buffs and energy accordingly. the thing is, I've seen people refer to the entire mode as a DPS check though, not just this one mechanic. That's the misconception I was trying to tackle.

Funny thing that would happen to me during notorious marionette. Every time my game lags and the boss tries to summon clones, it'll end up summoning a lot of clones like at least 5 clones every time my game lags. I watched multiple deadly assault matches with marionette and I've never encountered where the boss would summon a yon of clones
