I can really hear it! The synth horn in the background beats and roars like an unyielding heart. The harmony is the rationale, trying to make sense of it, wrapping around it, but always unable to escape of its binding presence. The chord sequence tells a melancholic story, but it always comes back in a big, glorious, major tone. It does sound like love.

This track is ridiculously good. It qualifies to me as one of the best remixed records of all time. This has been a personal favourite of mine since I discovered it last summer, and there hasn't been a single time I've heard it, where I didn't have to repeat it. As a music industry professional for 10+ year I can honestly say, that that is some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life.

For me, Luxuria's melody has always been an embodiment of the feeling of bittersweetness. This remix somehow adds to that, and it's the best on the album by a long shot.
@winterlogical5 жыл бұрын
interesting, I'd never thought of it as bittersweet. It always sounded like hopelessness and desperation to me. but that's the cool thing about music - each person takes something different away from it :)
@uhuruhuru5 жыл бұрын
Sam Hindson indeed! for me it’s something between melancholic and a certain shade of hope...like you are grieving from the past but looking at the future as something bright. Bottom line is, if a song/music can make all differente people have all different readings/feelings, that means it’s GOOD. This one is.
@mattgrodi4 жыл бұрын
Agree wholeheartedly
@haukauntrie4 жыл бұрын
Now that you said that, I cannot unthink of this description for this melody. But what I have always asked myself: Is there any way this melody relates to its title "luxuria", which is the latin word for the deadly sin "lust"? Is the song trying to communicate that human sexuality (at least in our current society) always has some sort of "Jing-Yang" to it? Or am I just overthinking?

So about every 6 weeks or so I let utube decide what songs I should listen to for a day or so. This is usually how I discover a “special “ song. One that you play on repeat for weeks on end! Sometimes I don’t find anything at all. Months will go by. Then BAM! You hear a melody in the background. You turn it up thinking , hmmm, what’s this? WOW, who is this??? I LOVE IT! Tonight my friends, while working (I deliver), it was this amazing track! I’m currently pulled over, late for my next delivery, listening to this ridiculously, beautiful mix! I can tell this one will be on repeat for a while! 🫶💜💃🏼
