He is from Liverpool that is their humor. That is why I love him, he doesn't give a flying Fuck

@@germaredipprnaar6264 he's not actually from Liverpool, he's from Port Sunlight, which is on the Wirral. But we are only a couple of miles from Liverpool and sound very, very similar, but some people(not me) take great offence at Wirral and Liverpool generalised as the same. Pete would probably tell them some wonderfully scathing remark tho!!

He didn't seem to give a flying fart what people thought of him, he just always stayed true to what he believed in. He never danced to anyone else's tune, he was always Pete. He proved that when he was on CBB.

I'd dare to bet there was some inner turmoil, but he was a character for sure; enjoyed him greatly. Once an enigma, then a social superstar in the face to confused audiences he learned to embrace. I loved the bit of him imitating some producer trying to hide him from view- his spirit lives on in the face of cancel culture, he always spoke his mind and was loved for it

Pete looked tough when he expressed himself, but in his eyes I see sweetness and a big boy. Sometimes I still don't understand why he had so much surgery on his face, especially his lips. He was very handsome, however I see his transition and I continue to see him handsome, because he had a beautiful heart. Pete broke the barriers of masculinity and gender roles. He was different, not just a man who dressed and made up like a woman, there were more things there. That was Pete. I am sad that I didn't discover DOA earlier (I discovered Pete in 2017), since my other musical icons are artists from the 70s and 80s. I hate not having met this special being named Pete Burns before.

I love Pete Burns and his music, especially with Dead or Alive. I will admit that I feel the same way and the same personal sense of inspiration from Boy George and Marilyn as well, but they are all different in their own iconic ways. But besides them, I especially love Pete and I aspire to grow my hair out even more and have it teased similar to his eventually because his hair from the 80s and it's length was my favorite. What an icon, even beyond "You Spin Me Round". Dead or Alive also had so many more great songs beyond their biggest hit.
