Regarding the scene at 6:30 in your reaction: In the first Deadpool, Wade tells Blind Al "there's about 116 kilos of cocaine buried somewhere in the apartment, right next to the cure for blindness". In Deadpool 2, you can see Wade open the floor where there is a callback to that line, there being about 116 kilos of cocaine and the cure for blindness within. I always thought that was hilarious, although most people miss it.

I've witnessed a few kids breaking something either flying off swings or falling off slides during the 1970's. I burned my legs more than a few times on metal slides while wearing shorts during the summer months as a kid. If anyone survived their childhood while playing on metal playground equipment during the 1970's without serious bodily harm, then they might be superhuman.

Cain Marko, the Juggernaut, got his powers from a gem, yes, at least in the comic books. In both his movie appearances, X-Men: The Last Stand and Deadpool 2, he's a mutant because it's simpler for non comic-readers to keep track of.

Co-writer Rhett Reese was doing a comedy bit for star Ryan Reynolds about the "inadequacy of toilet paper to create the appropriate hygiene for a human being." When they decided they needed to work it into the movie, they felt they needed to bring on an “Oscar-caliber” actor to deliver such a fine speech. So, Reynolds reached out to Damon, and he ended up liking the script enough to jump on board.

So, this movie was filming at the same time as X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Someone came up with the brilliant idea to make a call-back to the 'Studio can't afford another x-man' joke by putting this joke in there. The Deadpool crew shot Ryan's part of the scene in their set, then sent all the camera and blocking information to where the DaPh crew were shooting in Canada. They shot their part, and then the two scenes were composited in post.

They're usually like the black ops/killer version of the X-men to commit all the morally unacceptable (but debatably necessary) things the X-men won't go for. Deadpool has been on the team when Wolverine led it. Cable was the founder of X-force in the comics. Most of the team in this (except Peter) are all pre-existing characters from comics- but not necessarily from X-force!

Fun fact: Cable was Cyclop’s son from the future. His real name was Nathan Charles Summers. Her mother was Madelyn Pryor which is Jean Grey's clone (which at the time she gave birth to Cable‚ they both didn't know that the “Jean” was a clone.) Scott and Jean Grey had an actual son too naned Nate Grey which has a superhero name X-man. Nathan and Nate were pretty much the same person since they're both the son of Cyclops and two Jean Greys.

So in the comics, Cable is the son Jean Grey (the Phoenix) and Scott Summers (cyclops) who was infected with a techno-organic virus as a child so they sent him to the future in hopes that they could cure him. He basically uses his psychic powers to keep the virus at bay as there obviously wasn’t a cure and ended up stranded in the future for most of his life. The future in question is basically terminator but instead with mutants and apocalypse hunting down any humans and those who defend them. To summarize how important and powerful he is, he is essentially a psychic prodigy that’s able to do stuff like pull his techno-organic virus out of his body or explode people’s heads with just a thought. He in fact has done such a thing to Deadpool a few times and is usually the powerhouse of whatever x-force team he’s in.

Thanks Jax! Ryan Reynolds makes a surprise cameo in the assassin thriller Bullet Train. According to producer Kelly McCormick, Reynolds' involvement in the film was seen as a form of light-hearted revenge for having Brad Pitt appear as The Vanisher in Deadpool 2.

32:27 Fun fact: the spike being impaled through Wade's head probably wasn't all that painful (you know, if it were real to begin with). A little painful on the sides, sure, but the brain has no nerve endings and can't register pain. Brain surgeries are commonly done with only local anesthesia; the patient is actively awake and kept talking just in case the surgeon nudges something they shouldn't. Kind of like the game Operation (don't touch the sides!).

Nope... don't think Josh's dad was in this one, you can check some of his work in 1973's "Westworld" and 1977's "Capricorn one" :D For a young Josh check out "the Goonies" (1985), a fun adventure film :) If I remember right, Cable (a.k.a. Nathan Summers) was the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone), an interesting backstory involving a technovirus which almost killed him as a baby O_O A fun movie to check out, if you haven't already, is "Bullet Train" (2022) with Brad Pitt :) Talking about cameos, also check out "A million ways to die in the west" (2014) (go with the unrated version), several cameos in this Seth MacFarlane comedy flick :)

Cable is an omega level mutant meaning he’s one of the strongest around, he’s the son of cyclops and a clone of Jean grey, he got his moms telikenetic powers which is how he drags his guns to him through the air but he got infected by a techno organic virus that’s turning him into a machine, he uses his mutant abilities to stop the virus from spreading but as a side effect he can’t use them to their full extent because he always has to be focused on holding back the virus
