If I remember correctly at some point not only did Deadpool have his broken regenerative ability, but Thanos in his jealousy gave Deadpool immortality so he couldn't see Death. So even if you managed to kill him physically which is incredibly hard to do, his soul would immediately go back to his body and he'd be alive again. Theoretically you'd have to erase his soul from existence to make it permanent. Lets not even discuss the times that there has actually been multiple Deadpools running around made up of extra body parts that he lost but were sewn together to make basically clones of him.

In some versions, Slade has a selective healing factor, so he chooses not to heal his eye. Don't know about the other versions, though.

I think part of that is because of how he lost the eye. The emotional toll of the wound is why the eye didn't heal. Kenshin did the same thing with the scar. The scar didn't fade until he was able to work through his past trauma.

Deathstroke's healing factor comes from his activated meta gene; which can regenerate damaged tissue, but not regrow lost body parts. He was shot in the back of the head at one point; blowing the eye right out of his skull. The rest of the damaged tissue was regenerated; including his skull, but since there was no eye in his head to regenerate, his eye was gone for good.

I've watched this a few times now and definitely one of the best or even the best death battle fight. Deadpool voice actor, the fight choreography, the motorway scene etc. Some of the newer ones seem way shorter than how they used to be
