They had me at Happy! Loved Johnny Storm, Elektra & Laura, AKA X-23! Channing Tatum's Gambit was amazing (give him a solo movie, Disney!) But Blade stole the show! Given the Multiverse, IMO there's no reason why Wesley & Mahershala can't both be Blade! Director Shawn Levy said in an interview that the one Wolverine variant they couldn’t get in the final cut was an ACTUAL Wolverine, and the joke was Wade shows up in the woods and after he goes up to it Deadpool gets absolutely mauled. They came up with the idea late in production and there was not enough time or budget to get a realistic looking CGI wolverine to use in the scene. Also the other variants are: Genuinely comic accurate short king, YES Wolverine is 5’ 3” in the comics Crucified Wolverine from Uncanny X-Men 251 Patch, which is Wolverine’s alias when he goes undercover in fancy places “Glam Rock Logan” is Wolverine from Age Of Apocalypse And finally the classic John Byrne brown and tan outfit is from when Wolverine first fought The Hulk in the comics.
@mizrolist4 ай бұрын
In Age of Apocalypse Logan's name was Weapon X. There was a Wolverine there, but a completely different character. Wolverine and Hulk's first meeting was in The Incredible Hulk #180, which wwas Wolverine's first comic book appearance - and he wore the yellow-black suit, but with a different mask. His iconic mask came from Giant-Size X-Men #1 in 1974.

I've watched nearly all of your reactions, and this video is my favourite. This film, the references, the trivia, the history-it's PERFECT for you guys. It was such a great experience watching this film for the first time, and I'm grateful to see you guys experience it much the same way as I did. And those end credits made me pretty emotional too-I've watched all these Fox/Marvel movies since my late teens and it brought back a lot of memories. God bless Ryan Reynolds for leaking that Deadpool test footage way back when, otherwise we'd have never have gotten to see any of this.

I love how they portray Cassandra's madness, even when she was talking about Strange. "I found this... on his lovely fingers." She found Strange's mutilated and scarred hands as beautiful. They added SO many hidden layers to her character. Like when they're discussing who's going to kill her when they get the helmet on her. The whole time, you can see tears welling up in her eyes as she, someone who has ALWAYS been invincible, processes that she's seconds away from dying. I love her character so much.

50:41 she only said "AMATEUR MAGICIAN", It could be a dr.strange when he just started training at Kamar taj or it may not be dr.strange and just a random sorcerer from kamar taj who just so happened to be a variant being a threat to the sacred timeline.

Can't see anyone sharing this trivia yet: Chris Evans' monologue about Cassandra at the end was a one take by Evans. He practiced that diatribe until he knew it by heart, cuz he said he'd never gotten to drop so many R-rated bombs in a Marvel movie yet, he wanted to take full advantage of it :p

8:50 apparently the "sacred timeline" is actually the comic book series which take place on earth 616 while the MCU takes place on 19999. Even Spider-man 2099 confirms this in "Across The Spider-verse"

Saw this movie in the theater 3 times. Each screening completely sold-out hall. Not a single free seat. Each time bought my tickets 4-5 days in advance, went to the cinema early to chekc in and boom - a HUGE line with people all waiting to do the same... 1 whole hour before the projection. Never in the last 20 years have i seen anything like that. Not with any of the John Wick movies, not with any Avengers or other MCU movie, not with Star Wars or even any of the Matrix movies. The first time when i went to see it, people would get out from the previous projection and someone ocasionally would drop "Guys, you are in for a once in a lifetime experience". The whole crowd woo-ed and cheered. And when the N-sync song started, the entire hall exploded. That exact same thing happened in each of those 3 projections. This was trully once in a lifetime experience - a fan service done right.

I should be sleeping for work but here I am watching this reaction. Excellent use of the intro. The end credits was an amazing send off for the non-Marvel movies and to the fans who watched them. It was an amazing love letter. This movie will never get boring for me. One of the behind the scenes I love is Jennifer Garner talking about how she didn’t realize Elektra needed an ending until she was approached by Ryan. It sums up perfectly how this movie felt. We didn’t know we needed it until Reynolds and Levy gave it to us. Also, Chris Evans got all the swear words out he could t say as Captain America 😂

this movie and everything about it is just perfection. seeing you reacting to it brought me right back to the experience at the cinema seeing it. would have LOVED to see your reaction to all the cameos in the credits with the youtube edition...seeing your reactions to all the actors playing deadpool variants. perfect reaction - basically you said it all..how did they keep it a secret?? and I tell you what...everyone was pulling it together like "do it for them, do it for the fans and how they will react not knowing what to expect" this movie is perfection..and just what I needed after a few too many MCU movies not enjoying them and feeling forced...Deadpool & Wolverine coming around the corner and just enjoying itself.
