Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) | Movie Review

I would say it’s now my 2nd fav movie of the year. At first I thought it would be trash but it turns out I was wrong about this movie. This film was funny and a blast and it’s better to call it a send off to FOX and not really a MCU film. Best parts were the variants scene, action, humour, and the ending and Hugh and Ryan’s chemistry. BAD parts was some of the pacing, the stupid johnny storm death, Elektra was not needed and should have been replaced with either some of the other fantastic four characters or Thomas Jane’s Punisher (some may have wanted Cage’s ghost rider but I’m glad he wasn’t there, I honestly wasn’t a fan of his portrayal or two awful movies I’m sorry) and the villains were kind of lacking. I give it a 9.5/10, I still prefer Dune 2 for my #1 fav movie of 2024

Really liked this one most fun I have had at the movies this year. I also watched Inside Out 2 which had a tighter script then Deadpool 3 but was less entertaining. Beetlejuice 2 is my most anticipated movie this year though as the trailers lool really good.

My favorite movie of the year! No preaching or lecturing just entertainment. Glad it’s making money as it should be a wake up call to the industry that entertainment make cash and agenda driven films underperform or flop

Its tough for me to get into a movie where the 2 main heroes cant be hurt or killed. When they fight there's no stakes since they cant hurt each other or get hurt and it comes off as comical and yes I know its a comedy film.

I think Deadpool needs to be in a hard R horror film so his comedy can bounce off of the horrific horror elements and to me it would have been a pretty neat horror comedy and give something different for the character

I know Rob Liefeld likes to take credit for creating Deadpool but it was other artists and writers that made him the forth wall breaking comedian. But Deadpool is no longer unkillable since the comics have retconned his obsession with death. That being said I enjoyed it. It was a good send off to the Fox X-Men movies, which is kinda a good thing when you realize sexual predators and scumbags directed some of those movies. The TVA stuff was cool too even though I didn't give 2 shits about the Loki show. I doubt we will see Deadpool and Wolverine in the current MCU given these guys curse and murder everybody 😂 this was a bright spot but the MCU as a whole is still screwed. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

for me this was in my top 5 marvel films ive seen and maybe top 5 films ive ever seen it was nearly perfect, that being said from a comedy perspective I give it like 0.5 out of 5 stars, I never have seriously laughed at these deadpool films, at most a chuckle, its just my sense of humor I guess, I find myself laughing more at mike and matt(ramboraph4life) when they make fun of steven seagal more than all 3 deadpool movies.

Mike, I was satisfied that Gambit was done Justice in this not PC Rated R violent super hero bromance movie. Gambit is my favorite X Men member, and in this movie he’s wearing his mainstream continuity costume including the long length metal boots, and brown leather Trench Coat. Also, he has a smooth French Cajun accent, pink kinetic energy, also his impressive movement, card throwing skills of charged cards, and amazing skills using a metal bo staff were shown off in action scenes.
