Dead Pool is the only comic book movie made by someone who is absolutely obsessed with the genre and ensures the story is a true reflection of the characters! That’s what makes it so special as Ryan is in love with DP and it also helps that the character is based on him 😂 Dead Pool is finally a IP that doesn’t care what Disney, Warner Bros and etc thinks and goes for what they want to do instead of for future income.

Deadpool isn't based on Ryan that's just glaze. Deadpool was created in 91 while Ryan didn't get famous till 02. In 91 Ryan was 13-15. Plus Ryan's take on Deadpool is more based on Nolan Norths Deadpool from the games rather than the comic version.

Don't think he understands the concept of an intro, kinda weird for a dude whose channel is based around analysis. Idk why it started to annoy me recently. Like if you met him irl he'd have a 15 minute exposition of whatever is on his mind, then realizes that you're there, goes "Hi friend" and just continues on with his string of thoughts.

Even though both characters have regeneration powers, they do feel pain. Their fighting is mostly about wanting to hurt each other.

Must say, the MCU's introduction of the TVA and opening up the Marvel multiverse was genuis. Being able to link all Marvel properties back to the main timeline and have them hop in and out of each others universes feels like a payoff for long time Marvel Movie fans. The cameo's in D&W were chefs kiss, teasing Captain America for it to be Johnny Storm, having them team up with Blade, Electra and Gambit. I let out an audible "Wow, F*ckoff" when I saw Snipes, I never thought they'd get him back!

I don't get some of the takes of the more "serious" reviewers. Cassandra was at no point depicted as a long time planner but constantly living in the moment using her power and to me her motivation was pretty clearly stated. She stayed in the void because she wanted to but hates being played with. Paradox tried to get her killed and she went "you fuck with me then I'll fuck with you" and decided to take out all the precious timelines from TVA. Basically she took Paradoxes actions to be TVA's actions and decided to basically take their toys. Did it come out of nowhere? Sure, but it was not really against her stated motivations. Superhero movies and comics are always about beating the odds so having both of the MC's survive a situation that would have killed either of them alone by basically multiplying their healing factors together was also wholly in line of the genre. Also I never even once got the sense that Deadpool was on some kind of redemption arc. He wanted to "do something meaningful" because of selfis reasons, never in any of the movies for any higher calling or other noble stuff so the comments about Nicepool were weird (he also did not know about Nicepool missing regeneration powers when he first used him as a shield). The movie has a fair share of plotholes and it's pretty much just for entertainment but to quote Ryan George "there's nothing wrong with that". Some channels try to see problems where there is none just to seem deeper than they need to be.

If it were not for Blade, there would never had been an MCU or a Deadpool movie. Blade was the first commercially successful comic book movie licensed by Marvel Studios, paving the way for the MCU. And Blade was the first R-rated comic book movie ever. This set a precedent that R-rated comic book movies could be successful....opening the door for Deadpool to come crashing through!

The effects All were amazing, the music really felt like it made for the scenes, Hugh and Ryan delivered comedy, action and heartfelt scenes with all their heart into it! Seeing the Fox marvel cameos were amazing, blade and Elektra were my favorites as a kid due to those movies; also the fights felt very different and Wolverine moved like an animal, my favorite was the white suited version of Logan who had the eyepatch since I think it’s the white king version of Logan that runs the hellfire club with Emma frost I believe so it was amazing to see

I thought the film was enjoyable, but had some issues. Which you pointed out pretty good. Where fall Guy was a tribute to stunt people, this one was a tribute to everything a bit too much. But there were some real bad CGI shots and sometimes the music just got in the way. And sometimes RR/DP going on forever with jokes got a bit much. Seeing Jennifer Garner as Elektra again was cool (and I think she's aged quite well in that costume!). Wesley Snipes should be blade in the future. He proved it in this movie.

Cassandra's decisions made sense to me. She has godlike powers and was raised from infancy in a playground for her powers. Why would she wanna leave? When Wolverine has his speech about wanting to be the man Charles knew he could be, Cassandra was JUST in his mind so she knows how truthful he's being and what Charles could have meant to her. That said she is highly unstable so when she discovers Pyro was sent by Paradox, breaking their deal, deciding "fuck it" and turning the multiverse into a void she can be God of a bigger playground

Paradox does say that the universe would continue to exist for potentially thousands of years, but he's just going to destroy it early. Regarding the time inconsistencies, Deadpool 1+2 take place in 'current' times, and Logan takes place in the future, so Deadpool would've likely used Cable's time machine to go to the future in his own timeline to dig up Logan's corpse in the beginning.

That was brutal to get through. Saying he enjoyed the movie while not picking every step of the way sounds a little ridiculous. I had my issues with a couple of main points of the movie as well but if you’re looking for perfection, comic book movie adaptations and extensions of universe building just aren’t gonna give it to you. Who cares about guessing whether the MCU is back or not, how’s about just enjoying a movie for what it was, entertaining. Over criticism is hurting this business not sub par product

She didn't know about the time ripper until she got the info. from Paradox's mind, and that was the trigger that made her decide to use it to destroy everything but the Void.
