Got 3 questions 1. All X-Men movies, The Wolverine movie, and Logan movie share the same universe with the main Deadpool right? So only movie that don't share the same universe is the very first Wolverine movie from 2009 which also had Deadpool with his mouth shut? 2. In Logan movie, most of the mutants are dead due to human's putting poison into the water right? How come Deadpool was not affected by it? I read a comment saying Deadpool and Logan do share the same universe but Deadpool was in the past and he had to go to the future to dig up Logan's grave. Is that right? 3. Why were all these characters in the Void when most of them didn't mess with the timeline?

It was just so epic I remember and I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with it. It’s crazy that X-Men Last Stand could’ve been so good if Bryan Singer did that instead of the terrible Superman movie in 2006. I remember how shockingly bad it was at the time…only for 2 years later the amazing iron man movie came out. Wow them’s were good times being in high school/college beginning to mid 2000’s. I do not envy any kids growing up now or were born in the 90’s and later. Life was fun as a kid when it was simpler, with far less things to worry over.

I appreciate the fact that this movie wasn't about Deadpool & Wolverine on a trip through the MCU, but instead on a trip through the graveyard of the late 90s, early 2000s movies that were sold off to various studios when Marvel faced bankruptcy. The theme of failure perfectly weaves everything together in a much more meaniful way than I ever expected from what I thought for sure was going to be mindless dumb fun from a comedy duo. It really does feel like Feige wanted the boys to emphasize their common ground and bid farewell to an era that laid the foundation of flops their empire was built on.
@5Heth

They actually didn’t bid farewell to anything. There is already talk of another DEADPOOL movie with WOLVERINE . I just hope it doesn’t take another 6 years to make.
@Sabrina-b4s
@Sabrina-b4s 3 ай бұрын
I completely agree with your perspective! This film goes beyond just being another installment in the MCU by diving into a deeper narrative that resonates with the history of Marvel itself. The focus on the late 90s and early 2000s movies, combine all the existing Marvel movies together and the idea of exploring the “graveyard” of Marvel’s past, adds a layer of reflection that makes the film more meaningful. It’s almost like a tribute to the struggles and failures that ultimately shaped the MCU into what it is today. Feige's decision to have Deadpool and Wolverine take this journey feels like a way of acknowledging and honoring those early attempts, no matter how flawed, as essential stepping stones. It’s a fresh direction for the MCU, one that blends humor with introspection, making it a perfect new start for the franchise. The balance of comedy with a touch of nostalgia and depth shows that the MCU is evolving, and I’m excited to see how this will influence future films.

You missed the most important foreshadowing that occurred in the interview with Happy Hogan when Happy told Wade that the problem with him being a hero and joining the Avengers is that it was something that Wade needed. He then goes on to explain that what made the Avengers who they are is that they did not do the things they did because they needed to, but because the people needed them to. This all comes full circle when Deadpool chooses to sacrifice himself by short circuiting the TVA time device thus saving his universe and saving this Logan because they needed it, not because he needed it to fulfill his need to become someone who mattered. At this moment Wade Wilson/Deadpool became a hero.

Something everyone has overlooked.... in the Birthday party Scene, Deadpool states "everyone I love is in this room." But TJ Miller's character is not there....

I feel there's actually several people missing when you go by the end of dp2 - weasel, domino, cable and russell are all never heard of again. It's a real shame if you ask me (also still not sure how shatterstar is here, tbh)

@@thenightscythe2030 I found out.... T.J. Miller harassed a woman on a train and when she turned him down he rang in a bomb threat on her! Just like Ryan Reynolds personifies Deadpool, T.J. personified Weasel.🤪🤯😭😭

I thought emma corrin's performance Cassandra was one of the highlight i love how they played unhinged maniac really well although the writing for their character couldve been better , the motivation switch from one to another was a bit abrupt but, i liked them a lot on this movie.

Agreed. She was great but her character was underdeveloped. She did her best with what they gave her.

Thank you SC for pointing out so many Easter eggs that I missed. I saw this movie with my 17 year old son, Logan. He is named after Wolverine. He grew up watching the past and present Marvel movies.

I can’t believe you missed the look. Deadpool gave right into the screen after blade said he would be the only blade like Deadpool knows that they’re trying to make another one.

That’s not the top of the Harbour Centre in Vancouver, it’s the CN Tower in Toronto. Welshpool is played by Paul Mullin, star striker of Wrexham FC. I also noticed something that I haven’t heard anyone else mention yet. In the void, I saw the burned out Chrysler LeBaron convertible and Dell’s trunk from “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. I think it was when they were going to get the Honda Odyssey.

21:56 - Deadpool pointing & callingout “that guy” was also a clear homage of Tony Stark doing the same in The Avengers with the guy playing Galaga.

When Wesley Snipes said, "There's only ever going to be one Blade." I started laughing so hard, I'm starting to think that line was improvised just to throw shade at Mahershala Ali. If Wesley Snipes does return as Blade again in the MCU Blade film, that would be the funniest thing ever. I did not expect his cameo.
