About X-Men '97, I just jumped in. Didn't even watch a recap. I used to watch it when I was a kid but yeah don't remember much from the original and definitely didn't watch the finale I believe. Even with just going in blind, great freaking show.

Wolverine isn't often funny, but he does have his moments. He once called Daredevil the "biggest himbo that ever wore a pair of tights." He also refers to DD as "Tiny Dancer," so Logan isn't without his quips. He'll get his comedic shots in in this movie, but his primary role, as far as dialogue, is as the foil for Deadpool's insanity. He's the Colossus of this movie.

you can absolutely just jump in to X-Men '97 not spoiling anything really there's the trailer for the series that gives you the catch up to now, just "this is a post Charles Xavier ultimate sacrifice narrative" And Go! it introduces characters in a good snappy digestible way that a new viewer like me could just perfectly lock into. It's gold you could watch it together; it is just quintessential X-Men comics, from the soap-opera-esque drama to how freely creative they get with stories, its a fun time and the fight choreo with it's animation is TOP tier- Highly reccomended!

I'd say watch: X-Men, X2: X-Men United, X-Men 3 The Last Stand, X-Men First Class, The Wolverine, X-Men Days of Future Past, and Logan IN THAT ORDER. For more accurate time order First Class first and all of the rest in the same order. Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix and New Mutants are not worth it.

Not only do I hope to see Taylor Swift as Dazzler and Taron Egerton as a different alternative version of Wolverine, I also hope that it has Dafne Keen as Laura, Halle Berry & Alexander Shipp as different verisons of Storm, Ian McKellen & Michael Fassbender as different versions of Magneto, James McAvoy & Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles X, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/ Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Bryne as Moira MacTaggert, Evan Peters & Aaron Taylor-Johnson as different versions of Quicksilver, Sophie Turner & Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan, James Marsden & Henry Cavill as different versions of as Cyclops, Chris Evans & Jessica Alba as Human Torch & Invisible Woman, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Colin Ferrell as Bullseye, and Ben Affleck as Daredevil. Especially Walker Scobell as Kidpool I also hope that Josh Brolin comes back as Cable in the post credits scene when he finds out that Deadpool took his Time Machine. Please also bring back Julian Dennison as Firefist and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Can’t wait to see Dogpool too. Also, if this movie gets good and get a 2hrs 30mins or a 3hrs run-time, hope it’ll get a $1B or maybe a $2B box office I can definitely see Deadpool getting revenge by using the time machine to either stop Disney from buying Fox or convince Paramount to buy out distribution of Marvel films. I also wish and hope Cable (Josh Brolin) returns at least in a mid credit scenes when he finds out that Deadpool took his Time Machine. They also should bring back Zazie Beetz as Domino too Let’s hope that if it’s great, it gets a $1B or $2B Box Office and maybe get a 2hrs 40mins run-time or maybe 3hrs long. Glad that it’s R-rated. Wonder if they’ll do a PG-13 version just like Deadpool 2 And seeing Shatterstar is still alive at the beginning meaning that Deadpool probably went back in time to save him besides Peter. As a kid that's a huge fan of the X-Men original cartoon. They have a recap video that you can watch and catch up a bit. It does continue and pull some stuff from the original, but you don't HAVE to watch the original series to enjoy X-Men 97. But this is phenominal!!!!! You'll love this series.

I watched all of the original X-Men TAS and have the whole series on DVD but i dove straight in to watch X-Men '97 and it has not disappointed so far as it's like being a kid again but now the show airs on Wednesdays and not Saturday mornings.

You can tell that they are really holding back on the footage shown. I predict this movie will make a lot of changes to the MCU. As far as Xmen 97 goes, I say watch the key episodes of the OG Series, I'm sure there's a list, and then watch Xmen 97, so you can get familiar with the character arcs. For sure watch the final episode, so you can understand where it picks up. So far, Xmen 97 has been REALLY good.

I plan to watch the movie without seeing the trailers so i won't get any spoilers 😀I think it's a good idea! I will see it then decide if he's good or not. If this movie has a big plot with a lot of multiverse stuff, it's ok BUT i would prefer it if it was a smaller story like; DP's kid got captured by Juggernaut (He didn't die in DP 2, we saw his hand getting out of the pool if i remember. The villain can return!) The merc uses the time machine to meet Logan. At first, the X-men will find his humor annoying and fight him but will stop after Deadpool told him about his kid. Logan will accept to help him rescue the child but say it doesn't make them friends. He will eventually opens to the goody killer; could say at the end '' Your not that annoying! '' Am i the only one who would like that? A simple story about friendship with a lot of action and good humor?
