Seems to work really well. People change the propellers out for splasher props but back before they did this kind of thing they would beat on the bottom of their boats with mallets and shake the tip of their rod in the water… gets the fish all fired up… strange but the striped bass is a naturally curious fish. Either way… good luck and tight lines!

I had all the stuff with me to employ this method and diddnt consider doing it. I want to thank you for showing this. Im sure this would have been the difference yesterday

It’s the most mind-blowing method if you ask me. Instead of making a life like movement, if you give it no action at all and just hold it down there in one place and there are striper in the area, it seems to drive them crazy.

I’ll keep an eye out for it. I am hoping to get a kayak in the future and am curious if this would work. Tight lines bud!

This has been done thru years with a 5 hp motor crank it up and let it run it will draw stripers did this at Santee=Cooper way back in day and worked to draw fish.

What depth were you fishing at?

50-60 feet, about 3-10 cranks off the bottom.
