Grazie per questo bellissimo ricordo! solo una piccola correzione: non è Bil ma Big :-) . Nella formazione, al basso e tastiere un giovanissimo Max Casacci (poi nei Subsonica), che aveva sostituito The Dusk.

I suspect this is not the concert Deafear held at Big Club in Turin on Apr. 13, 1984. I was there and recorded the audio from the soundboard in collaboration with the band. My tape is longer than 44' (56') and I was not aware of cameras in the venue. Maybe the video does not include the whole show; however, I tried to sync the first track of the video with the first track of my tape and they do not match exactly. At certain points they look in sync, then not, then yes again. This makes me think the video could have been recorded at the May 15 show.

The big club was a sort of legendary place for the Turin scene at that time, and many different kinds of people used to venture into the gritty/grimy/dingy/crime ridden neighborhood the club was in, for some disco music one night, or a post punk gig the night after, or something else the next night. When this very Deafear's gig happened I was a little too young and still more into vandalism than into music scene, so I wasn't there in the club that night (but there's a chance I was around outside, smashing car windshields and setting on fire trash dumpsters, or something like that! 😄). So, if you were one of the people at this concert, and after it you had found your car damaged, or your bike stolen... Well, I'm sorry!

It came straight from a bad childhood/adolescence! 😄 Btw, I'm not 100% sure but I think that the club recently became a sort of fancy sushi restaurant or something like that! times have changed; In those days you could regularly stumble on some trailer park scumbags with a chain or a knife ready to mug you: now the threat is a flock of trendy upper class idiots, armed with brand new iphone and golden credit cards... And that's even scarier and dangerous! If you have some spare time and a chain maybe we can team up and go there to mug them!
