My 2 favorite Tudors are the BB 925 and the Pro. 😊. Nice review

Those are two great choices. I think the 925 is a good buy now as well! How’s the silver holding up?

@ it dulled a little put nothing super noticeable like what happens with bronze. I like the more dulled look and have zero intentions of polishing it.

Do you think pelagos fxd gmt is loosing value?

This is a tough question, I believe from retail most tudors are losing value. This year in 2025 the retail prices have increased yet again, and secondary prices remain constant so that could mean better value for second hand watches. If you bought it when it first launched at retail, I suppose the value retention is still quite fair, about 10% decrease at most.

@twosecondswatch thanks for quick answer. I didn't bought the watch yet. Retailer price on tudor norway 49.600 norweigan kroner. Offfical Tudor Web page price is 51.050 norweigan kroner.First edition is 55.000 up to 71.000 norweigan kroner. So i am on waiting list .i just paid deposit.

I think, if Tudor wants to dispel the “Poor Man’s Rolex” moniker then they need not pull from the Rolex archives for inspiration…unless they are going to do a Tudor Submariner which we know won’t happen. I think the same for the recent BB 58 GMT…I’m all for the slimmer case but the 16710 resemblance and the gilt…IMO, doesn’t help separate it. Not hating on the brand, I’m a Tudor fan/owner just not with the release that keep it tied to Rolex. Haha, I know, it will always be tied to Rolex and for that I think it will always be in its shadow. Good example. I was in a Watches of Switzerland store inquiring about their remodel and its opening date and the Rolex branding on the location site. Since I have spend with them I figured maybe I’d have a chance for a timepiece. The salesman was already preparing me for disappointment and the waitlist lol but offered me a Tudor as a consolation prize :-)

I think Tudor is and always will be under the shadow of Rolex. It will always be their selling point, and I think they know that the closer they design their new watches the better they sell. They are still trying to innovate with the pelagos series but a lot of their older interesting watches which didn’t have much to do with Rolex designs were axed and possibly didn’t do as well.
