Matt Roloff did not sit down at that table to "Keep Everyone On Schedule". He sat down to be antagonistic towards his ex wife. It's not that complicated. If Amy is "notoriously" late, then why did Matt feel the need to prove anything at the expense of everyone else in the house. They split for a reason. If Matt Roloff can't make polite conversation with the guests in the house, then he can leave. What a small, small, little man he is. (And I don't mean his physical size). The main reason why they got divorced is basically the same reason that a lot of other people who star in reality shows get divorced. There's a lot of pressure to try and make your personal life look perfect on TV and having to deal with the paparazzi takes it's toll over time. When every little thing you do is published in the tabloids and on TV, you begin to build up a lot of stress because of it. That stress eventually tears your family apart due to the pressures of having to try and remain the perfect family even when small cracks begin to form on the surface.

Everyone else is relaxing and enjoying each other’s company, and he’s looking at his watch and trying to “stay on schedule”. “To try to keep everyone on schedule”... what? That’s the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Either he just said that in camera to try to make himself look better (or look like the victim of the situation) or this is how he actually lives his life and he actually thinks even a family gathering on a holiday needs to be kept ‘on schedule’....either scenario is pathetic. My opinion though is that he was using this as an opportunity to showcase Amy’s lateness but it only made him look like a massive ASS. Who does that? Who sits alone at the table waiting to be served because they were told a certain time? Even though being told a certain time, most people don’t because most people understand and respect that it’s unbelievably rude and childish.

She never was nice to him or acted like she loved him...from the get-go of this series. Not a loving couple and should not have been chosen to do this type of show. Always an underlying tension and resentment. No wonder 2 of the kids want nothing to do with the "tv" sham that it is.

zero respect for this guy throughout the series...he has a hard life physically and that seems to be ignored. We never chastise anyone in our family if they sit down at the table before dinner....she was so very rude making a deal out of it so she could spew more venom at him.
