Its not that simple and direct as you have put it. Before falling upon the finished work at the cross, this is for the one who first has accepted Jesus as Lord and savior. Secondly, he believes in death and his resurrection, three he has openly confessed to have received christ in his heart. Four you declare the new creation upon yourself, you declare the finished works of a Christ, you declare God is now our covering etc. already what's being done in this process is cutting ourselves free of any past sin or curse. Its more like. If Jesus died for our sins, then why do we repent? Why cant we continue sinning and rest on the promises of forgiveness. You will realize there's much the blood, death and resurrection meant in restoration of man back to the lost position and thus we have to contend with this reality.

This isn't true, we still have to raise altars. In the old testament physical altars were raised, however in the new testament, spiritual altars remain. Unless you can shoe from scripture where spiritual altars have been condemned
