is deindividuation the same as prisonisation ?

no not really. deindividuation is the loss of identity a prisoner may feel (also seen in Zimbardo's Stamford prison experiment). prisonisation is the more about the effects being surrounded by other prisoners who have committed crimes. It causes people to adapt to an inmate code and participate in a culture of violence and so cannot adapt to the outside world (like Sutherland's differential association suggests prison becomes a school of crime filled with pro crime attitudes) i hope this helps lol
