Hey man, I know this video was posted a while ago, but I have a some tips that might help if you're still experiencing razor bumps. I've got wavy/curly hair myself, so I'm experienced with ingrown hair issues. Thankfully I only get the odd one these days. The info below is a bit of an essay, but I was inspired to post after seeing the title and watching you express concerns about your skin. I've been there. Tip 1: Use fewer products. This sounds counter productive I know, but you only a need a few steps when it comes to shaving: cleanser, shaving cream/oil, rinse, moisturize and optionally the Bump Stopper if you find it helpful. The reason I say cut out the steps is because the products you're using have a fair bit of alcohol in them. This isn't great for your skin and won't do any favours for razor bumps. This is especially true for the nivea post shave balm, which doesn't have any benefits other than to make the skin 'feel' cooler. Again, a good alcohol-free moisturizer will have the same effect (with SPF if applying in the morning). A separate cologne is a much gentler option if you need a fragrance. Tip 2: Look into exfoliating cleaners. Use either before you shave, or in the evening. Get yourself a cleanser that contains a BHA such as salicylic acid. That'll help reduce inflammation and raise the hairs above your skin in the long term. You can also get a chemical BHA toner/lotion, but for your purposes I think a cleanser would be more suited. Just cleanse as normal, then leave it on your face for a couple of minutes before washing it off. I really like the Cerave SA cleanser if need a recommendation. I think Cerave products in general are pretty good and affordable. Tip 3: Please don't go back to using cartridge-style razors (the Gillette). They are terrible for irritation-prone skin. Either stick with the One Blade, or use traditional safety razor. They look intimidating but are really easy to use and much gentler on your skin, due to only containing a single blade. If you're interested, just search "how to shave with a safety razor" and watch the tutorial by Executive Shaving. You can definitely go down the rabbit hole with the safety razor stuff - don't worry about getting a brush, bowl, soap etc at first - but honestly I just started with a £15 Wilkinson sword set from amazon and I noticed the difference immediately. Plus the blades themselves are absurdly cheap. Tip 4: Not a tip from me, but from a professional dermatologist. Search "Dr Dray razor bumps" and watch her video on ingrown hairs. It contains a ton of really useful information that you won't get from most of the "male grooming" youtubers. When it comes to skincare, science is much greater than marketing. Apologies again for the essay. I just felt compelled to help a fellow man out. If you have any questions, just let me know. Have a good one! (Edit: Forgot to mention that I'd recommend swapping out the Witch Hazel for an Alum Block. Again, most witch hazel products contain alcohol and shouldn't be used in large areas across the skin. An Alum Block is much easier on the skin. Try applying it post-shave to any razor bump-prone areas for long term benefits.)

Ralph Mesidor I used a safety razor on my neck and it took me to bump city, when your hair is as rough and curly as mine a trimmer and foil shaver is my only option, but really food advice none the less

I found that using electric clippers will get it close enough. And then using a men’s hair removal cream to clean up the stubble. No really close irritating shave with a razor & it gets your face baby smooth
