Dealing with Stress with Swatches

Here are some random thoughts as I sat down to playing my art journal today. I first set everything up and then began searching my Neocolor No. 2 crayons. I was hoping some art would start but I continued searching and talking. I hope this can help you while you’re going through some difficult patches.

Thanks for the reminder to use our supplies. I but but don’t use because they are too precious to use or I don’t want to “use them up”. I’m so sorry this is a stressful time for you but you’ve reminded me that taking little pieces of time to do things you enjoy can help!

I am sorry to hear about all the stress you are having. I can empathize. I just got done with a year that included selling a home, moving an hour away, getting rid of 3/4 of my stuff, changing my son's school, getting him a car, getting my daughter a car, all while working full time and traveling, and studying for 4 exams for a certification I needed to obtain. Saturday was the first day I felt like I could truly breath. I pulled out my paper ephemera to sort it for my relaxation and detaching. It helped immensely. Sometimes just rearranging and organizing my craft supplies reminds of stuff I have that I should use, and settles my soul into a creative mode. All this to say, know that we are all struggling with things, and thank you for sharing how such a simple task can help relax and refuel us. I really enjoy your videos.

Oh no John, so sorry Chad had a wreck or was hit. Did he get hurt, I didn’t hear you say. I guess I walk during stress. I not very artistic or creative.
