I have no problems believing the premise of the Raid promo. I was in an emergency ward in '96 looking at a display of various objects that had been removed from patients eyes, noses and ears (and a swizzle stick removed from an 80+ year old man. Don't ask where he had it). The nurse who treated me told me every holiday season they'd have an epidemic involving Christmas ornaments where they didn't belong.
