I’ve been praying about this, especially in the last few days!

SO convicted it hurts. Literally my mindset from the past week to just a few hours ago. It might be a very small thing compared to others, but I was trying to finish my final assignment for the year, it felt like a nightmare. I just wanted it to be over, I SO wanted to be anywhere but "here." I wanted to be THERE - free, able to enjoy my holidays, live out my dreams. I wasted more and more time on twitter and other apps, warping my mind somewhere else so I didn't have to face it. My prayer life and devotion was falling apart, I told myself once the nightmare was over I'd be able to resume a healthy spiritual life... but I was supposed to rely on God DURING the process, instead of holding Him off until it was done. I lost sight of Him, I lost sight of what was MORE important. I relied on myself and struggled immensely. When I finally submitted it - when I finally got to "THERE," instead of feeling free to live my dreams, I felt empty. I didn't trust him through it, that, now I'm finished, I feel so far away from Him and it's horrible and disgusting. I really see the error in my ways, thank you for this. I guess that's why I've listened to it NOW instead of a couple hours ago when I was going through it.

It's ok, although it was a year ago I believe this event casued you to become even more close to GOD. Now that you know true happiness can't be obtained unless you have GOD in your life, you can only get closer to him. I'm praying for you❤

Lord how much I needed to hear this, today of all days and when I came on KZbin here it was. God wanted me to hear this. I am dealing with a lot of uncertainty. I am dealing with depression an anxiety and I am on medication for both and I am uncertain about getting better. I have two very close friends who are struggling to be there for me while I am having this hard time because they think they can't help me anymore because I don't listen to them. I'm uncertain how things are going to go. I haven't cut in years, and last night I cut again for the first time. I'm uncertain whether or not I'll get better. So Lord, I needed to hear this today. I know in my heart if He brought me here, He will bring me through it and not leave me, I just need to hold on to that hope in my uncertainty.

This message was a double whammy for me today. Been watching Elevation Church and love the messages Pastor Steve does but this one moved me to tears not only because of dealing with uncertainty and confusion at this time in my life but hearing he had lost his dad to ALS hit close to home as I also lost my father to ALS 7 yrs ago. The heartache and pain is still there, however I know both God and dad are watching over me brings me peace.

I feel you Lauren, I’m on the same boat. I’ve recently moved out of home and moved in to a new country. To make a long story short, the spiritual fuel that I left with has now ran empty. I’ve been job hunting for 3 months and I’m burning through my resources while I’m believing for a breakthrough. I’m now faced with more questions than answers. But all I know is that God is good. He has never failed me. So I’m beginning to embrace more and more at the fact that I have to come to complete surrender to him that he will help me see this through. I can’t control it. It’s not easy. But that’s what faith is right? All we gotta do is keep moving forward. I’ll be praying for clarity, guidance and perspective for you! 😊 We can do this!

I know man I know. The last nine months I’ve asked for nothing but a new perspective, I got that, I also realised I got that when I was speaking to someone. But man, how much more do I need to learn whilst I watch my heart escape from me. I have two major decisions to make and have no idea whether to go left or right. The pressure is so much so that I just feel like giving up. It isn’t that I don’t know God or what He is capable of, it’s more so on what else can I do. I’m just stationary atm and it’s frustrating. Nothing good and nothing bad is happening. I just want something to happen so I know what to do. Whether it be good or bad, just something needs to happen. Nothing happening is worse than something bad happening.

I prayed for years to heal my husband and father of 3 daughters... amphetamine addictions and rapid cycling bipolar with borderline personality disorder sociopath... it was Progressive. He had changed and was changing. And I was raised not to divorce. I had to stopped praying for God to heal him, and started praying for God to remove the toxins in our life and protect my 3 daughters. Everything changed. The blessings came when I filed for divorce and for an injunction. Raising my daughters through teenagers ....without his influence, was the most beautiful answered prayer. Amen

This brought clarity to my heart . I have been through alot and moved away from home for 15yrs. One day it clicked it's time To go home. Things was getting to be a struggle and my friend Jennifer said Rachel.... This is God pushing you to go home .He telling you it's time to go back where you belong . I got a uhaul and a tow bar and packed my things and me and my son headed to my home town and I never looked back . Speaking to the ladies, WOW 😳 Careful what you ask for, bc I’ve said to my God, I want to do your will. I’ve been uncertain, why would God call me to do that? I’m scared, what’s next? The trials of the last 10 years of eggshells, the trauma from a person who I’ve loved unconditionally and still do. Now he’s changed, he found God and seeking Him!
