I feel your pain. Once I was playing with a guy that played Cardians (which already was an annoying deck) and every move he made would take him about 5 minutes to make. They did that when they were going to DQ me I explained they were told of my disabilities and I needed more time in the match and if they did what they said they were going to do I would file complaints with the league and the sponsoring store for a violation of my ADA Title III protections. And if they retaliated this was on recording and I would file a complaint for illegally punishing me for my lawful complaints to both parties with a lawsuit on the latter in small claims court to the store for the full $3,000 plus court costs with most going to charity. Its fine until you face people who need an added ten to fifteen minutes to play a fair game.
@codyhanson13445 жыл бұрын
@@clerickolter if you are playing as slow as the very much intentionally exaggerated "Slowus Playus" shown in this video, it would give you a very much unfair advantage, even if not within your control, not to mention how much of an antagonizing mental pain it would be to play against even without the gameplay advantage. There comes a point where you are just too slow to play Yu-Gi-Oh, even if it's not your fault. At that point, you might as well stick to your friends/family. Locals have to close sometime. American Ninja Warrior doesn't change their course based off of your physical ability. It you can't do it, you can't do it. In competitive Yu-Gi-Oh, you have a time limit. If you can't think fast enough, you get knocked out of the competition. You shouldn't be able to sue your way to the top.

Requires a Cyberdark monster & a Machine Type Roid monster (This includes Speedroids but excludes stuff like Dark Jeroid) When this card is summoned you can equip a Machine or Dragon type monster from either player's graveyard (For some context. In the anime Cyberdarks could also equip monsters from your opponent's graveyard as well) to this card. This card gains attack & defense equal to that monsters attack & defense. When your opponent targets this card (QUICKIE) You can detach an equipped monster. Negate the activation and if you do destroy that card.

This just reminds me of the Monarch deck. I play online and it's been their turn for like 5 minutes sending cards to the graveyard, to the hand, back to the deck. Pick one card, they play another spell card that does the exact same BS. And when it's my turn they play a damn trap that takes them 5 years to go through. Until I eventually quit the match. I usually do that with all Monarch decks..
@NanashiKokoro5 жыл бұрын
I had this exact thing happen to me. (Though I went to Kroger because it's closer.) When they said "good game," I asked "How so?" And he just... stared at me. Like I was speaking a foreign language. "Because the game is over, and I won?" That would imply we actually had a chance to play against each other in any capacity. I sat here and watched you do nothing, then win for it. "I'm just being courteous." The best courtesy you could offer is playing the game in the first place. I can't accept a 'Good game' if there was no game. "Don't be salty." Again, there would have to be a game for me to be salty over the outcome. This is not salt; this is boredom becoming frustration. This is why I don't do the competitive side of the game anymore. -___-

I got a group, there are 5 of us, 2 of them I taught how to play but.... Both are slow Friend 1 is just slow in general, not the brightest but a good guy, he also has a habit of speaking his mind during his turn (ex: "I have this card but its risky" "should play this now or later") He also dosent know his deck by heart (he plays very casually not as passionate, dosent take the time to understand his cards, so I give him a small pass) and fails to understand deck compatibility. Friend 2 is the opposite. He is more passionate (too much if you ask me) and puts more time into understanding his deck, but that deck is a odd eyes pendulum deck, SOOOOO MANY EFFECTS. He always has to read the effects and thinks forever if he can combo something else (he once took over 20 minutes, luckily for me I brought a comic to pass the time)

Easy Win: Get Leaks on when the next banlist comes out, duel the person an hour before the banlist comes out, stall for an hour but make it look like you're a noob by having random old cards in your deck, Then you win because now your opponent has banned cards right as the hour is up and they are disqualified

I had a Trickstar player once do a bunch of unnecessary plays, doing an Orcust combo with a lyrcoris on field while watching the clock vigilantly in game 3. He passed turn with 3 seconds left. So of course by the time I draw and he says “take 400” it’s time in the round and it was because he didn’t even allow me a main phase.

I stopped playing yugioh along time ago but I’ve stayed watching your channel. Thanks for making content even a dbs player can watch lol

My locals has been very bad with slow players. They take the maximum amount of time allowed to side plus their turns that are normally combo turns requires 10-15 minutes a piece cause it’s a combo deck. I’ve started playing prank-kids so I can just go to game three with 2 minutes left and do a full combo in that tine

Back when I used to play like 7-8 years ago, this guy got banned for slow playing. He would try to get a few life points higher and then just start really taking his time. Pissed off a lot of people

I'm thinking about going to my local card shop for my birthday. I'm running rogue deck and it's my first time participating at any type of event. I'm extremely comfortable with my combos, flow, and recovery options, but I wanted advice on what I should expect. I'm honestly going to play, but if I win or make it into top 4, it'll be a plus. *I'm running a variant of Jeff Huff's Toon Turbo, because I love toons. I'm replacing a lot of his super expensive choices with extremely tech-based situationals like D.D. Dynamite, Lava Golem, and Inferno Tempest.*

these skits are probably the only reason yugioh is bearable. Whenever I'm sat across from someone unhygienic there's a mini trell in me telling him to wash his ass and it keeps me sane 😂

There was one person at an LGS who was like this, but to be fair, they were mentally slower than the average person. So albeit it being a chore to play against them, it does take a special kind of patience to tolerate that kind of pace.

There should be a skit where the meta player plays against some rogue deck like herald or something and doesn’t know how to play against it, and then the rogue player activates his stand.
