I wanted to do something different with this edit, try out a different sort of style with the ending, as well as the fades etc.
The audio is again a something that I’m trying to figure out as different hardware and I need to figure it out, but I hope it’s not too loud or too quiet, muffled etc etc.
I created a darker channel video of this song with Dean and Castiel (You can view it here: • Dean and Castiel - My... ) back in April 2017, but since it’s been requested for this channel, I thought I’d edit it again, there are some places like the beginning that I’ve used the same idea, but I’ve kept this close to canon as possible.
I’ve rambled a lot here, and it is way past bedtime (The sun is coming up), so I’ll leave this here and head to bed. I hope everyone is well and I hope you like the video!

Ok, now that I've had time to process this devastating emotional barrage... I think the thing I love the absolute most is that all of the shots are actual real shots from the show. There's no fake cuts or spliced images. The most editing to the clips was some blacking out of the background, and that is just AMAZING. I'm not one for generally saying the actors should see fanart outside of signing stuff at conventions, but I think this is something that would would make both Jensen and Misha smile.

After cancelling The Winchesters and Gotham Knights I've lost all hope of seeing them together on screen. But watching this I just realized that my expectations will always be based in Destiel and maybe the best thing to do, is rewatching SPN and your edits over and over. The video made me cry so much and so hard. I needed this. Thank you for the masterpiece, for the hard work and for keep doing this. Makes me happy 😊 I hope everything's ok, I missed you. A slow frame by frame painful cropping out background. Took far too many hours per camera angle lol, and even then it isnt perfect as i wanted. But it did the job 🤣 im glad you like it!

@@AngelDove I know. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that they let us know he was with Jack in Heaven and I'm assuming they reunited. Dean didn't even stay alive long after that all happened. Absolutely love your ending!!!❤

Yeah, agree, but even in episode 19, Dean didnt try to save Cas from the empty, he demanded Chuck bring Cas back, but in the end, he didn't even ask Jack, etc would have been nice for that moment. But yeah, glad he's in heaven

@@AngelDove Yeah I know...I think Cas even asked Dean the first time he came back from the Empty standing near that phone booth, 'Did you try and get me back"" and Dean said 'I didn't think I could"... Dean believed he was 'dead dead'...no way to come back from there. But yeah..it is what it is right? Out of all the alternate endings I've seen, yours is the MOST perfect...it couldn't be better than that! So THANK YOU!!❤❤

I'm in a weird place right now relating to fandom, especially Supernatural, but this video... You really got me. The fade in 2:12, then bringing in a fix-it the way you did at the end!

I am really glad you liked it! I have a weird relationship with spn now too, I try to ignore the ending because it puts me off, and also still so frustrated and annoyed by it, lol. It is easier to pick a small clip from the finale episodes than to watch tho. I can pretend it's just another moment and not the last moment. 😂
