Dean & Jack are "MINING" for Maine Minerals! What will we find? FAMILY FUN!

Nearly 40lbs of mine dirt sent straight to our home from Dig Maine Gems! it was so much fun digging through the dirt collected from the Mt. Mica quarry in South Paris, Maine, and shipped to our door. We found some pretty cool minerals! Miners can find apatite, aquamarine, beryl, garnet, lepidolite, mica , pollucite, pyrite, quartz, rose quartz, smoky quartz, schorl (black tourmaline) spodumene, pink, blue, green and watermelon tourmaline, and many more! This was fun for the whole family and we had many cool finds!
