The character of Odd Thomas is so well developed (physical description aside) that continuing the character in other forms beyond the books seems natural. This short really shows how well the character could fit into shorter stories and could make a great film or series. Beautifully done short film.

thats cool to find these im halfway through reading odd thomas 1st dean koontz book. will be reading many more after this! Bodachs give me the chills. based on real shadowbeings that alot of people have witnessed.

I pictured him similar but with lighter brown hair, more sandy brown. The Dog looked just as I pictured it though, lol. And the flash of Stormy was pretty much how I pictured her too. It just goes to show how well Dean Koontz is at descriptions, it's what I love about his books, that I can picture what I am reading. :)

This is sooo cool. Yup. I pictured Odd a bit younger, thinner and with longer, slightly shaggy brown hair. I wonder why? Was he ever given a detailed physical description in the books? Great character. He really seems to have come alive for many readers. Myself included.

Loved this! I love Koontz's Odd Thomas series and have devoured each one like it was a big ball of cotton candy. I wish he wrote faster. I'm a voracious reader and I know there are others out there just like me. For those "in between" times, I've found some other series that I've gobbled up: Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli and Isles MA Comley's The Justice Series Linda Prather's Jacody Ives Mysteries Steve Berry's Cotton Malone books So put on your reading bib and start munching!

Ive read odd thomas, forever odd, and brother odd, and i loved them all. It's great to see webisode of oddy's adventures. They should make odd thomas movies, or tv series. I loved seeing the white german shepard BOO, in this first webisode.

Fair enough and true. In the new "Odd Thomas" graphic novel Mr.Koontz states that Odd has never really had a solid 'look' but perhaps one day may as the series progresses towards it's end. I wonder - was this particular version of Odd closer in Koontz's eyes to what he envisions? Interesting.

I read all of the Odd Thomas novels and Koontz is my favorite author. If Stephen King is the Rolling Stones of horror writing then Koontz is the Beatles. Does anyone know how i can get Frankenstein Book 3. I tried on the internet but the copies are not available in paperback or hardcover. Even though book 3 came out in 2006.

A couple of years a go on Cable t.v. I saw the last 10 minutes of a unknown horror film. It had a woman protagonist (who i don't know) and creatures such as the "Bodach". All i remember in the last 10 minutes of the film was the woman walking into the bathroom or closet or a small room and she was being watched by these creatures laying on top of one another, they were thick (a lot of them) in the "area" where they were, crawling on top of each other. The "Area" where the "Creatures" were and watching the woman from was like another dimension, dark and creepy. So in the end they somehow pulled the woman across to their dimension and well, that was that. Anyone knows the name of this movie? Thanks in advance.

It's a fairly strong video, especially for a webisode.. but the quality of the voiceover and the voice actor were pretty weak. Otherwise it was good, other than the fact that Odd is different in my head.
