Well Dean literally said that in the video... He specifically said he did not and would not "bad mouth Nopixel" because of something bad happening to his character. Denzel did get fired from PD previously by the former captain Brook Ruth, he rp'd for a bit as a civilian/fired police officer until the next Police Commissioner Beric Johnson reinstated him.
