My heart breaks so much for this man. He never got to be a child, he put it all aside to raise Sam. And when he finally gets his mom back, she just keeps leaving him (I'm not angry at Mary, but seeing it from Dean's side is devastating).

I wish someone was unconditional for Dean, like he was for Sam. Sam did his share, but not enough, not from my point of view; sometimes he didn't considered Dean at all, when he was the first and foremost important thing in Dean's life. Cass was loyal to him too, and Bobby. But why did it have to be his job to shoulder everything? Sam, his dad, his mom...Gosh, the hole frigging world was put on his shoulders! Is just too much for just one person. He really is the strongest human and a righteous man. I can see the man an army would have followed to war. A champion, a savior.

Such a good edit! You fished out some of Jensen's acting that really holds up this show! Most edits of him are when he's cool, dangerous, funny (which I love too!) but this one is really the remaining dramatic spectrum which he does sooo well - the voice, the expressions. The dude deserves an Oscar.

This is so heartbreaking to watch. It is also a beautiful video with every part so perfectly capturing many of Dean’s struggles. He so very rarely drops the bravado and actually deals with his emotions instead of just burying them & figuring it out later on. We are all familiar with his life from different ages and how he’s been treated, all of that has been shown throughout the many seasons. It’s interesting to me seeing all those specific scenes put together, it REALLY makes an impact. Normally when shown scattered across the many episodes of 15 seasons you get it, even start to really feel sorry for him. You understand that his strength isn’t just physical, that he is super flawed but his intentions are always in the right place. He is my favorite character of all time. It took me a while to figure out why I love him so much but then one day I realized that I was just like him. I too never had a childhood, lost my mother when I was young, was constantly put down to the point where that’s what you honestly believe about yourself, so angry that you just stop thinking & start swinging and lonely, so so lonely. I had a difficult relationship with my Dad too. I loved him so much as my only parent left but he obviously preferred my sister and did everything he could for her but I was just a third class servant that stayed there. It got to the point where I had even started drinking more often and more quantity too. I finally decided that I needed to get some help. I just passed the 2 yr mark and have made great progress. I know that he’s just a character but he made me realize a few things about myself and the world around me. I always knew that there are monsters in this world. I’ve even dealt with a few of them, but it sure is good to know that you can actually come out the other side and survive. Thank you Dean, for all that you have taught me and also for helping me to finally find the key to that prison of the past I’d been stuck in for too damn long. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much! For me it's really hard to watch both of them suffering. Mary can't find a place in this world (which reminds me of how Dean suffered when his Dad brought him back) and Dean can't feel his mother's love - the only thing that he craved since he was a child. It's heartbreaking.

AGREED. I think a huge part of it too is that Dean's memories of Mary are these precious, golden things that he's kept so close all these years, and for him, to have her back is to be able to touch those memories and have his mom back finally. But at the same time, he's scared she'll know what kind of man he's become/what he's done (because we all know he is just brimming with self-loathing and guilt). So when she isn't the exact golden memory, he's having so much (understandably!) trouble with that. And for her, she was literally ripped out of Heaven, where she had her two tiny boys and her husband. So not only does she have deal with losing them - because as much as she knows these men are her boys, they're also men who went their whole lives without her, and she doesn't know them at all - she has to deal with losing John (who she literally made a deal with Azazel for so he could be okay), AND she has to deal with being in a world that's basically 25-30 years in the future for her. Nothing's black and white, she has no idea what's she doing or how to do it, she doesn't fit in anywhere, and she has these two men who desperately want their mother but not one of them knows what that can look like at this point. SORRY THAT GOT AWAY FROM ME, I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS. XD

There's been a lot of judgement on Mary's behavior and as Dean's fan I get that but I think it's important to see everyone's side. And Mary is going through a lot. Like Sam said she's burying herself in hunting. Just like Dean. Actually I think that Dean and her are simmiliar in many ways (just like Sam and John).

Yes, agreed - I think there definitely has been a lot of judgement on Mary. I don't love her actions either, but I understand them - she's completely at a loss and just trying to what she can, and she has no one to guide her or talk to, really. She's trying to balance all these expectations and all this grief and being ripped out of HEAVEN. I don't agree with her some of her choices but I feel so much for her - she's trying, she's trying as best as she can.

And you know when you have children your 10 to give you life to them some people treat them like whatever but the reality of it is they learned from you doing good and bad and evil I guess and sometimes they get that grieve mentality they see success that's being done and they're not conversing anything cuz they choose to go the path that go and then there's the weekend once I want to put spells on people to make them have misfortunes losses death and you name it they do it my journey has been one of the worst ones I'm not afraid to talk about it cuz my my talking about it helps me get it out and also educate other people that it's not the end it will never be the end and don't be giving them the victory when you do something to harm yourself or want to end your life with getting people what they want you to do and as children I didn't have a childhood either I remember growing up becoming a little adult from the get-go but I don't want to talk negative cuz my mom did all she could do if she worked at one point with for jobs I became the babysitter watching my brother staying home from school then I start skipping school because I got tired of getting jumped and having my stuff cut up at the gym and you know being talked down cuz I was born in America beating when I was going to school so I stopped going to school then at 8:14 I moved from my mom's house into a they call it a a group home for kids but I wasn't doing drugs I was not doing sex and after the school I finish high school over there find out in the nursing program my school is worthless to didn't have no value I finish school at 8:16 and in the United States is 18 so I had to take the GED even though I fought it for a whole year was I didn't want to do the GED and one that I realize school diploma I only need 25 credits but you know when you go to an adult school it's tedious but anyways off to subject many don't get a chance to be a child my classmate she actually had to she was young think we were nine she would have to go home and clean the blood off the living room floor where moms hair curlers had hair wrapped around them and it was blood all over the floor so when many people talk about situations happened in the past sometimes we just lucky to be alive living through this and helping somebody I had to stop working from a very young age babysitting at age 7 an attorney's child so there's many lessons along the way I don't drink because I can't stand what it does to people have I ever drank yes but I always chose my kids over the drinking so I parted from any people that drink and it's supposed to feed your drugs II standing

I don’t like Mary i don’t think she should have come back, there more to being a real mum for one i would have never left mine without a good reason i would die for mine so they could live, this woman selfish, she never listen to Dean when he went back to tell her she got out of bed, so many things she did wrong. When she came back later on she left them again messing with Dean head as if he didn’t have enough on himself as it is, poor guy. Where was his life, where is his happy ending. Dean speaks about Sam having a real life, what about Dean does he not deserve that too, all we hear is about everyone else. The only person who cares about Dean is Castiel they both should of had that happy ending ❤
