One of the things I love most about Supernatural is Dean's struggle against his internal darkness. I think the earliest episode that touches on it is S1:E22 "Devil's Trap," when Dean shoots his first demon with the Colt (to save Sam's life) and then, afterwards, confides to Sam, "Killing that guy, killing Meg -- I didn't hesitate. I didn't even flinch. For you or Dad, the things I'm willing to do or kill, it's just... it scares me sometimes." This was an excellent exploration of that theme, capturing so much of Dean's anger & despair, guilt & fear, as he faces what Hell made him and what the Mark is trying to make him. It's painful, poignant, beautiful. And you do it all with style & perfect timing.

Thank you so much!! I am glad you liked it :) and I am glad the audio isn't hard to hear. I've been trying to figure out the line where it won't be changed by KZbin. As it always sounds different on raw video than uploaded video, everything seems quieter and less audible/separate vocals and music seem to disappear into one linear flat sound. Glad this hasn't hindered this video ❤❤

Those scenes with Dean and Alastair were brutal. They remind me of the cold hearted person I tried to become in 2018-19. I let the darkness take over for a bit but I've been fighting it ever since. No doubt Dean going to Hell back in season 3 fueled the Mark of Cain, but watching Supernatural kept me from going insane several times, so I resisted it too. Now I feel lost in the darkness but I'm on meds that help finally!

great video but not using the scene where he chops that vamps head off while he was vamped out and had his foot resting on it was a crime

That is normal Dean lol in that same frame of mind, should have just added everytime he killed something. Him killing humans as a vamp would have been the darkness, but he didnt do that, he kept control. Also, i dont believe we were shown him cutting that vamps head off.
