Impressive career and quite a list of iconic guitars. I am a small one-off custom guitar builder in South Carolina and you can't be a guitar builder and not know who Dean is. Such a contribution to our craft and an incredible designer. I love all guitars and im mainly a strat guy but again, Dean has made a lasting mark on us all!!

Thanks for the stories, Dean. Fyi to the person mixing the audio: Dean is mixed with too much bass and his vocal doesnt cut through general room noise. It can be hard to distinguish his words. Tried it on wall mounted TV speakers and a 5.1 surround system, just vibrates the TV and drywall. Sounds like mumbling and low grumble. Please add some freqs to cut. Thanks

I've got a 90s ( I think) icon with the shrimpfork headstock and a wood bridge cover. It's a great guitar but I have never found another one like it so I don't think many were made . I have a few soltero models and my psychocabbie. Dean Z made some of the coolest guitars ever.

I have a red Dean Z Explorer from '83 owned it since '85. It plays beautifully. It's one of the only guitars I own that remains in tune after setting it down for months. I just picked up a Dean Zelinsky Private Stock LaVoce with a tremolo and it is so good to play. Keep up the quality work. My question is where was the 83 Dean Z made and where was the LaVoce made?
@Powell_OBonez9 ай бұрын
Your 83 Dean Z was made in Chicago and should have a "Made in USA " pressed into the back of the headstock with a serial number.

Great video, as for me I didn't know about dean guitars until the 90's, when a friend of mine bought one of his acoustics. I liked the sound but I I had a Ovation which sounded and played much better. I never gave them much thought after that "Until" I was watching the NAMM show, where they featured the new DBZ CARVED TOP GUITARS.!! I was blown away by them.! Most dramatically different guitars I had seen to that point.!! Since then, my DBZ Barchetta with tigereye finish has been my pride and joy, it will go to the grave with me.!! Finding out all this information here now, is like a history lesson for me, and I enjoyed and will continue to enjoy every new video he makes.!! By the way Dean, if you read this, please tell me if you can get me a case for my Barchetta, I have tried for over a decade to find an original one, with no luck..!! Oh, it's a left handed model.....thanks in advance.
