this performance is from Bullet in a Bible, their live DVD from the American Idiot tour. I got it for my 9th birthday and it forever changed/influenced how I view music, especially live music. I highly highly recommend the entire thing, but some highlights I'd suggest you watch are Jesus of Suburbia, Brain Stew and Wake Me Up When September Ends. I've seen these guys live 4 times and their shows always blow me away, I'm yet to go to one of their shows and not bawl my eyes out LOL.

Great reaction. An awesome band & gig. I was lucky enough to see it. The DVD is intercut with the band talking about the songs and process, which in a way is cool ... but in another way kinda distracts from the feeling of losing yourself in the music when watching the whole gig. I mention that as the versions on KZbin do a bad job of lining up and the bit of Billie Joe talking and about 'living the song' was about the next song about to come on ... not about King for a Day. The next song is Wake Me Up When September Ends, FYI, so the bit you saw at the end is previewing that. Great reaction. Stick with Green Day, there's a huuuge catalog of really awesome tunes - oh and they are super entertaining & talented to boot :) I highly recommend you check out: the next song live (as above). Also, some others, but others will already be flying in with suggestions for those.
