Another Aussie but I have never tried Grant's. I buy all sorts of single malts, blends, Bourbons ...... and now I (almost) feel guilty. Out of shame my next purchase will be a Grants'. I'll get back to you!

Drinking some right now,first couple sips tasted Smokey like scotch is supposed to taste but after a few more sips just tastes like alcohol..

It helps to let it breathe a little, you should be getting a lot more than straight ethanol? What do you usually drink?
