He hates on Gobert because he got paid way more than most athletes ever did in his time playing. But that's just how the game is today. Much higher salaries. There are other centers that Shaq does kind of show his insecurity around though.

Not a great game for him, but if you notice, after Coach Monty gave him that speech, the plays they show in the video are literally some of the next several plays coming out of that timeout. Went and got a steal, lob dunk, block, and rebound right after that. Those series of plays really helped seal the win for the Suns.
