Just a quick note, you CAN set up the looper so you can click the chorus and the pedal will switch to the new loop when the current loop finishes. You set the looper in loop lock mode “L” instead of free form “F”. It takes more planning because you have to know if the chorus is the same number of bars as the verse. If it’s longer you have to set the multiplier (2nd digit)

Thanks so much. This video saved me time and money. I hope EHX comes out with a fix for this or a new pedal that can: A) allow you to load in the following loop by pressing a secondary button, and B) quantize loops w/o basing it on an internal rhythm track. Currently using a Boomerang. Great sounds, but your timing needs to be spot on.

Wow, I think this is the only tutorial of any kind on this pedal. I can't possibly learn by reading a manual. But just by watching this ONE TIME I can use the pedal to do this. These manufacturers spend a buttload of time on marketing videos, then have totally crap English skills to write a HOW-TO manual. IMHO, the manual for this device has nothing to do with "HOW-TO" but instead is more of a marketing tool, which gives a whole bunch of "this pedal can do this, this, this and this"... but no path on how to get there... they's sell a shitload more of these pedals if they actually had some kind of decent way to transmit the engineer's engineering to the public use-able brain... telekinesis is not possible,.... I can not do a mind reading trick to learn how to use the pedal... maybe I missed the mind reading drug that was supposed to come with the pedal?????

Can you program the 22500 so that when you press the stop/tap fsw the loop fades out (trails) instead of immediately stopping? Like you can with their 720 looper?

I think I’m gonna nite the bullet in these over a 2880 The 2880 has that mixdown feature that is soooo col (records fader and pan movements) and I’ll miss the headphones out too (grrrr) but, this one has “undo” and non synced parallel loops ...

I’d buy one to learn but they’re so damn expensive. New they were only 305 msrp but now they’re 360 & up!? New or used, I believe used because they’re likely discontinued

With the optional footswitch, can you scroll up one after you create your Verse & Chorus in order to make a Bridge?

i don't have the footswitch. I think if you change channels everything stops so not practical

Does anyone know how to change the count in from 4 to 8?

Hey man I loved your video!! I was wondering if I could record a loop and once I finish recording it, instead of pressing play (playback or overdub), I could press stop, so it is recorded but not played back immediately, so I could un that recording further down the song, in bridge for example. This feature is helping me decide between this looper and Boss RC-30. Thanks a lot!!!

Yes, ehx called that feature '1 Shot Mode'. You may want to read about it in the online manual before purchasing. It looks to be what you want. The rc30 wont do this, but it can be set so a loop plays back only once, which is not quite the same because that's after you made the loop and it wont just stop after you recorded it.

Can you delete the loop using footswitch? For live performance, I remember it was not able before.

budi sugianto you hold two down two buttons at once, whichever loop you want to erase plus the stop/tap button. It works pretty well.

Did anybody figure out how to use the quantized setting?? No way to synch the rhythm and loop. When you click on the Loop A button the recording starts... when it wants. After you're done the result is all messed up... some parts are repeated and it sounds nothing like the original. Not my first rodeo, I've been working with a JamMan Stereo Looper for the last 4 years (until the mono input failed) and never had problems. Anybody has tips? I've been looking for info online but couldn't find any.

He is wrong. With quantize on if you press another lopper button, it will go to the end of the loop then roll into b like he said. It plays by a measure so the timing will be better that freestyling it
