This Melody is VERY similar to "Kitty Courtesy" by Aunt Betty's.

there are only so many chords people can use lol. not really similar imo. but even if they heard this band and took it just like most of the greats say. its fair game. inspiration is everywhere.

​@@yanik4852 you are not wrong about inspiration. I totally agree, I just love both songs! for what it's worth... DATH were my favorite band in high school and saw them probably 5 times live around mesa/tempe/phoenix area and was heartbroken when they split. My uncle is the lead singer from aunt bettys (michael knott). Although kitty courtesy is in a different key, the similarity in cadence, chords and melody finally struck me just the other day :)
