I'm trying very hard not to be incredibly jealous of having a flat bought for you, or starring in the west end and writing books being able to afford a flat of ones own. I've lived on my own before and loved it, but now not even making enough money to buy my groceries. I miss my little rented flat :( But okay, going to be a big girl, going to be so happy for Carrie, and not jealous of Gi's lovely life. Wonderful ladies, they are, they don't need my envy negativity (but sometimes it's hard, oops).

GI, Im so glad ur back! I always love watching your vlogs and I wanted to tell you that I especially loved this one because although you are giving tips to Carrie, you are also giving tips to your viewers as well. I'm in my 30s and have lived on my own for many years, but I remember what it was like when I first moved into my own place and had to learn these things for myself. Its wonderful that you can pass on the knowledge you have gained and also that you and Tom will be close by to help along the way. Also, I'm very sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he or she has recovered and is doing well now.

I agree with the plants issue. When I moved, I decided to grow tomato plants without really knowing what I was doing and planted the whole batch of seeds. I now have 12 tomato plants, 8 pepper plants and chives and my tiny flat is turning into a jungle.
