@@jenniferkirkland5211 exactly a movie musical will always miss the songs. I wasn’t expecting them to cut every song sung by the parents. The opening song being cut is a bold move

@@jemston1 Because in the musical they dove into the parents a lot whereas in the movie, because it’s the last time we’re going to see something new with Dear Evan Hansen, they wanted to explore Alana more and also be able to add some closure. It made sense to me and now we have more Dear Evan Hansen songs to listen to forever.

But honestly, i can really tell Julianne and Amy tried very hard to make both movies worked. The Woman In The Window was really mediocre but Amy's performance made the movie semi watchable for me. Take her out of the movie, would've sucked very hard

Two great actresses who starred together in two of the worst movies of the year. So sad.
