Just a little Fred and Hermione love letter...
None of this actually happened, it's just, you know, my little imagination about what things would have been like if Fremione happened. And yes, the last bit was stolen from a Scallison scene...
So I was on Instagram and saw these fan-made letters, and there were some from Fred to Hermione - or the other way round. Credit to LETTERSTOMRPOTTER and DEARHARRYPOTTERCHARACTERS.
I've always had a soft spot for this ship. After all it is fanon - fact canon...right? Special mentions to GeorgeFred95, katarinamor, LyingLumos, TheLittlegranger, katwithlove and Cinnamonhummingbird because their Fremione vids BLEW ME AWAY. I may start making some too...

Dear Fred,
I know it's stupid, writing to you but...I thought maybe writing to you would make this all feel better. It's been almost a year. We've all managed to cope. Just about. Sometimes, I feel like I can't anymore.
You're laughing at me. I know you are.
That's what I miss most about you. You just smiled and...all my pain went away.
You remember Fourth Year, don't you? Ron had got me crying and I lay helplessly in my purple dress. Everyone looked down at me, not bothering to help me. I don't quite remember what you said Ron was but I think it was along the lines of, “he's an idiotic, good-for-nothing prat”.
Although I think it was a different four-letter-word.
Whatever it was, it made me laugh.
I miss that. It's not the same anymore.
For a while, the house was so quiet. No one did anything. No one wanted to. We just wanted you back.
But we knew what you'd have said. You'd tell us to buckle up and stop acting like some sentimental freaks.
Georgie's much better now. He was a mess before. We were so scared he was going to...hurt himself… But as I said, he's happier now. He cracks jokes all the time.
I do too… I've even started to help at the shop! I've realised it can be a real laugh. I even used one of your puking pastilles to get out of Potions one time! It really is extraordinary magic.
Ginny misses you so much. For the first few weeks, I slept in her bed. Every night she'd wake up, asking for her brother. The one who taught her Quidditch. The one who always teased her. The one who used to promise her sweets every time she got the Quaffle in… The one who gave her a worm instead.
And Ron… He was the one who told everyone it was going to be okay. He was the bravest. He helped us all through. I was so used to him looking after us, I wasn't sure what to do when I saw him laying on the sofa, crying.
It was George that time. The one who helped him. We saw the pain in his eyes as he told Ron he'd turn his lamp into a spider. For a minute, we laughed. We knew that if you were there, you'd be laughing with us. And you would've turned that lamp into a spider. And Ron would've probably wet the bed.
It hurts. It hurts to know that you're no longer here.
But as I said, we're doing better.
Mrs Weasley still knits you sweaters and scarves and gloves… Fleur helped. Although I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want pink flowers on them…
Fleur's pregnant. And Ginny and Harry are FINALLY together. And you don't need to worry. All the red-heads will kill Harry if he does anything to hurt Gin.
I think back. Back to Fourth Year. After that joke, you told me I looked beautiful. You said I always looked beautiful. And that I looked way better with my mane of bushy hair that could never be tamed. You even said you liked my crooked teeth better.
Then, you kissed me. I wasn't sure what I was doing so I pushed you away. You blushed and looked away. Then this time, I kissed you. And you kissed back.
I remember telling everyone. Well, at least attempting to. Everyone laughed and laughed. We ended up laughing too. When they still didn't believe us, you kissed me again. Of course, your mother started planning our wedding. Although...we never got round to it…
Would we be married? Would he have children?
Imagine, two little babies with crazy curly red hair, a streak of defiance and a love for books. Obsessed with rules… Yet with a passion to break them. I'd probably have insisted on some name with meaning, and history. You'd probably have named them Bob. Yes, both of them. Don't even try to deny it.
It was after the sky-battle when you first told me you loved me. It was perfect - romantic, sweet… Except for the fact my goosebumps were getting goosebumps. Then we ran into the Burrow after we heard George was hurt.
I realised… I never got to say that I loved you back.
But you knew, didn't you?
You were my first love.
You were the first person I ever loved.
The person I'll always love.

Bookworm Fred, why didn't Fumbridge (effing Umbridge) die instead? I love mischievous people, you're in my list of favorite Potter characters. Unlike Ron, you and George never got angry (Ron getting angry gave me the collywobbles). I love all of you Weasleys. And I wish you had lived. Who killed you (so I can point my magic baseball bat (the bat has a hex inside it) at him or her and yell BLOODY HELL, it's an unforgivable crime to kill a Weasley!) Tell Ron to cry instead of getting angry. (Angry Ron always scared me, from the beginning when he yelled at Hermione). Ron crying is better, because crying is not dangerous. Anyway, we miss you. Watch over my favorite witches (your mum, Professor McGonagall, Luna, and of course Hermione) because you know I love the ladies. ... I think this is the most beautiful video that I have ever seen. i'm stunned. tears are still running down my face. WOW!!! I LOVE IT. it made me laugh and cry. I sometimes forget that Freddie is dead. Great now I'm crying and when my 3 y. o. nephew asked me what was wrong, I started sobbing because I can't help but think... "What if that was him?" or, "what if I was in Ginny's place?" Because no matter what mood I'm in [ sad, angry, or scared ] he always finds a way to cheer me up. Dear Fred, yeah its 2020.its been a long time.it hasn’t been the same ever since you left us. Every time somebody cracks a joke we all remember you. it’s not easy at all George hasn’t been the same ever since you left. He cracks jokes here and there but deep down I know that he’s hurting he’ll never get over it, I don’t think anyone can, you guys were the Weaseley twins, the ones who could make us laugh even in the most serious situations, you were always here when we needed you most, you always cheered us up whenever we were sad… somehow we all managed to cope. honestly I still remember you every night before I go to sleep and every morning I wake up. I think George and Ginny were the ones who were effected the most, George that’s just self-explanatory, he was your partner in crime, your twin, your other half, your right side, your ride or die, your rock, your everything. You guys went through everything together and Ginny she used to and still does just not a frequently wake up at the middle of the night and cry about wanting her older brother back. Ron was the one who helped us through it all. Let’s just hope he’s smart enough to get back with Hermione. we all miss you so much its even hard to explain, but you’re in a better place now with Dumbledore, Harry’s folks and everyone.
