I’ve had similar experiences when I had my Harley … I spent hundreds of $$ when I got my bike to be part of the dealerships “VIP” package ( discounts on service , parts , clothing ) , only to have the program cancelled a month after joining it . I will not go back to this dealership ( or any of their sister stores ). It’s so bad at their dealerships , that I’ve thought of switchover Indian when the time comes for a new bike .

I’ve also had this experience. It seriously frustrated me so much that I went out of my way to leave a review on google and Facebook. Harley wants to create a brand image but it’s up to the dealerships to deliver on that brand promise which where I see the disconnect

I have had similar experiences at a local dealership. I've now found one that I have a great relationship with and always feel taken care of and respected. It really hit or miss dependent upon the dealership ownership attitude and focus. Going into any dealership should be a VIP experience for the customer no matter the reason for the visit. 👊👍🇺🇸

Exactly. Especially if you know you are paying extra for that Harley service fee.

dude, found your channel through Bry the Biker on Grinds My Gears of all places LOL!!! anyway, this video nails it...I live in Ohio, the sale was sh*t but thats my fault....I didn't step back and think...Just on a trip, I ended up trading in and buying a PanAm out of state, love the bike so much more...but being out of state I will not get to visit the service dept to much, but I do go to that state a lot, if I can time it out, I'll probably go there and try it out, what I'm hoping for, is that the local dealerships will not give me grief for not buying the bike there, its actually concerning to me, only time will tell......good video man, subbed sláinte!

Yeah I don’t use any of my local Harley dealerships. I always go to what once was the biggest and best Harley dealerships that had to become a power sports dealership because of Harley. Great service and great techs.

underpowered, overpriced, brakes are garbage, their service department is laughable, lastly wish you all the best with harley financial.

Can't say I know what's happening in America but my Harley dealer in Maidstone, Kent, England has been absolutely fantastic from buying to service advice and general interest in making sure everything was as I had hoped for, hell they even phone me a couple of days after they work on my bike to make sure everything is good. Guess that's how we do it in the UK and it's against UK law to sell over msrp, just thought I'd through that In..

Today, the HD and the dealership failed both. Harley went wrong with ' demands and costs sucking every penny from dedicated loyal customers. Technology is far behind from Honda. (I had 6 HD and Honda), so I know what I'm talking about. Once you visit the dealership, they like sharks will bite off everything they can. This leaves a very unfavorable feeling. Next, my bike will Indian or Honda again if HD doesn't change.

I understand your video, but this is the same thing as asking your government to babysit every tax paying business in America-Good luck! HD is only the manufacturer, not the independent dealer. I can go down a rabbit hole here very easily and can start with the customer first, and then move into dealership costs, lack of employees since nobody wants to work, and the list goes on and on. I feel bad for any business operating in the times we have right now. All businesses owners, investors etc, want their businesses to be great, but it only takes a few bad apples within that can set the stage.

Probably because in Miami, all the dealerships hear are the first words that come out of a Cubans mouth is……”Heyg Maan……how much?” And, the salesperson scratches his head knowing darn well no matter what the price you tell them, it won’t matter anyway since the person doesn’t even know what they’re looking at! Facts! Financing most Cubans are about impossible too with multiple names, no money, no job or a job that pays $15-20 per hour and they are trying to buy a hundred thousand dollar boat! 😂😂😂
