You know you've made it when you've got haters, I've got them on some social channels, not on KZbin yet, which probably means that I've not done anything meaningful just yet (working on it). Forget the haters Casey, they don't matter, their sum total contribution to society is negative KZbin comments... what a cruddy life.

Hey Casey, It is better to read the genuine comments of your followers than your haters because haters burned themselves down internally seeing your success. Your contents have changed the lives of many hopeless creators who don't dare to start their channel i.e., do what you can't! See my channel which is very very small and even i don't have idea how to manage it, but i learn it from your content i.e., do what you can't. Good luck and create contents to motivate others.

Lukas Gordon but it's still someone's property. It's in lower Manhattan, it's definitely not "abandoned". Someone may be renovating it. Point is, Casey trespassed and made it seem like it's a totally cool thing to do, that's not a very good lesson for the thousands of kids watching this

Watched this vid and the quote reminded me on my dreams. many people take my dream (becoming an astronaut) as a childish kids dream even if i dont become one ill end up somewhere high up with some sort of great job. All these people are just jealous of my motive to go higher than others. Idk people try to push me down and pervent me to even try to reach my dreams not even my parents take me completly serious. Last summer is when i found my dream and im now becoming a sophmore in high school ive made significant progress as in grades im just afraid my haters will take away my motive to keep trying. I love that quote tho.

The one thing I don't understand about 368 is how it could work for longer than 1-3 years because of your stated (and increasingly more immediate) intention to leave NYC and move to LA/Texas. Sure you could start it all over again in the new place (and spend all that money again) but half the point was to make a space for creators to gather and collaborate in NYC because the sense of community was lacking. I just can't see how these two goals can work together.
@tonynotstated6956 жыл бұрын
If you've noticed, Casey's plans are not written in stone. He's a very flexible guy and will adapt as the time comes. And, in 1-3 years, 368 might just be able to run itself without 24/7 attention.

@Bengalxboy996 жыл бұрын
Not hate at all, just a few tips about the gaming setup you have been mentioning (by far the most exciting thing about 368 personally)! For a gaming setup, I hope you could find some space in a back room/where you did the first podcast with Candice because once you have a lot of creators in the main space there will likely be quite a bit of collaboration noise/just noise in general which makes live commentaries or livestreams not have as great of a quality as you would want. Also, for the setup itself, I would recommend BenQ 40 inch or smaller monitors. These monitors have no input lag, something that the 88 inch will suffer from. Surprisingly, more desk space and room to move with smaller, more compact gaming setups is preferred for most KZbin/Twitch gaming creators.
@lisalisa54616 жыл бұрын
Casey, I just finished listening to last weeks podcast. I understand Candice issues completely. I hoping this will help you guys. When your gone, and also stayed longer, Candice is pregnant and home with your daughter by herself. Then after you have done Your thing you want to go to the movies- then leave her alone to care for your daughter again. Your life hasn’t changed- you still do what you want. However, Candice has given up her travel, partying etc, for being a family. Ask her if this sounds right. She still wants to support you, but I think she wants you to consider the family 1st, and time with the family. Hope you get that. Good luck!

I don't think some of these comments are "hate comments" per say. I have seen lots of comments confused about 368 and giving constructive criticism. I just think it's hard for people to understand what's going on when they just seem like regular vlogs to a lot of people.
@sirmeatpie41306 жыл бұрын
i think it perfectly normal to be curious about 368 that's understandable. But he said that most of the comments hurt his feelings and that's not cool, especially since Casey is such a nice and relateable guy. There's a fine line between curiosity and hate

You're welcome. "Per se" is probably the most-commonly misspelled word/phrase derived from Latin, other than "segue" which I see misspelled as "segway" so much it drives me crazy LOL ("Segway", with the capital S, is the self-balancing two-wheeled vehicle created by Dean Kamen.)

There's always going to be people with negative remarks, which doesn't actually mean anything. It bothers some people, but that's only because these people are so invested in pleasing everyone around them. To be honest, the "haters" have no purpose. They offer no constructive criticism and will latch onto any of your insecurities just to bring you down. So who cares? Casey didn't even need to address them. They legitimately mean nothing.

This is not an insult, Casey, just my own reflection at having received lots of hate comments, some of which did hurt my feelings:I always find that the comments that tend to hurt my feelings also tend to have a hint of truth to them. I am not speaking anything to these comments in particular… but being “insulted” is often times more a reflection of how you feel about the truthfulness of what was said, as opposed to the actual truthfulness of what was said - what ever that truth may be.

True. But sometimes, don't you think, people have not a damn clue what they're talking about. Outside looking in I guess.
@TheSoffyka6 жыл бұрын
Right, but you lost point. He just literally showed what he was up to, so he is not ofended because comment like ''your 368 is failure'' hit him, he's ofended because people have lost faith and critisise without any clue.

KatsaPoBane Absolutely, very often people have no clue what they’re talking about, and still say it with the upmost of conviction. But those are not kind of comments that insult me. Specific example: I made a video where we cooked an ostrich egg. A lot of “haters” were calling me “cruel” or “heartless” for having “killed a baby ostrich” or for eating an “endangered” animal - both of which are factually incorrect. All eggs we eat, at least in North America, are unfertilized - meaning that they would never become babies. And ostrich is not an endangered species. I actually got our egg from an ostrich farm just outside of Montreal. The comments that tend to poke at my heart tend to be ones that I can find, or personally believe there to an element of truth to. Like the time someone called me a jerk because they thought I kept a fish I caught out of water too long releasing it (just an example). As far as Casey is concerned, anyone complaining about his content - his quality, entertaining, daily content - really needs to thank him, not criticize him. It takes a serious sense of entitlement to criticize someone who is giving you a free gift :-) Peace out!

Sophie Fox Casey is a hardened KZbinr. Lol. I don’t think this insulted him in the traditional sense… The problem with these types of negative/ignorant comments is that they can plant a seed of doubt in other people who may not know better… So it was a good opportunity for Casey to show what 368 has been up to.

Hey Casey I was wondering if there was any part of 368 that you have considered turning into a space for music creators? I know you have your podcast area and with all that sound equipment you could potentially create a studio or something. Idk just a thought

If you can install the stove facing outwards/towards the camera, it will make a huge difference in your 368 kitchen studio! Excited to see what you guys do next.

Love your stuff, Casey! Just a thought on sink/stove placement for cooking shows. Swap locations! Filming/lighting against a backsplash wall is problematic at best.
