When you look at them, no matter how rich they are, or how much they were criticize- you can see sharon and KC is just like any mother daughter relationship with a very loving relationship. They are just human beings- privileged but they are ordinary human beings who love their family so much… Its hard not to be emotional too if your mum and dad are both very civil and friends despite what happened before.
