Dear little brother... || Mice on Venus || OMORI SPOILERS

Hey, hello, hi! It's our silly inky binky Sunny's birthday, so of course I'd plan something and rush to finish it in the last minute (as in the day before [I WORKED FOR TEN HOURS YESTERDAY]) Ahem...
The idea for this sprouted when I was randomly listening to some Minecraft music. I used to play Minecraft a lot with my older sister when we were younger, so the game and its music means a lot to me and hold a special place in my heart, as I'm sure it does for many, many others. When thinking about this song and my sister, it reminded me of Omori (everything does at this point), more specifically, Sunny and Mari. And thus this video was born. What do you even call it? There's no animation but I wouldn't really call it an animatic either. Alas.
ONE DAY. ONE DAY I WILL MAKE MY SISTER PLAY OMORI AND SHE CAN FINALLY SEE THIS.
When editing this, I discovered a really obvious feature in CapCut that I just missed.. and it improved the quality of this so much and distracted from the hasty line art and coloring. Thanks to this feature I discovered my future videos should be of a similar improved quality and seem less flat : )
All of this aside, I am working on a fully animated music video, and that should come in 2-3 weeks?

Also I discovered that I MISSPELLED MY OWN WATERMARK so I fixed that with this too ahahahahaha....

Mari's is in March, and I assume she passed during the fall, and I thought she turned 16 in that year? you just managed to mix both of the media that got me through my teenagehood. minecraft, which i played in my very early teenage years and that brought me so many friends, and so many memories of the happy old days. omori got me through depression in 2021, it's kind of silly but the way i related to sunny heavily really helped me explain my emotions to my psychologist. seeing both minecraft and omori in this video gave me an emotion i cant quite describe, nostalgia? but also comfort, i feel at peace and at home. thanks for this video. i'll cherish it for a long time

I know this seems unrelated but this video made me realize that as an older sister with a younger brother as well, I've always loved my little brother. Like what Mari says on this video, my younger brother also became my light in life. He made my life feel better. He's there for me and I was there for him. I looked after him while he was still crawling. I laughed and played with him. I even fought with him but as usual, we would always make up. I love my little brother.
