You are appreciated, when I was youngin my brother did drugs 17 years old. 19 he died on the streets. Though back at the time I will never see his face. Ain’t a brother alive that can take my brothers place. Suspended from school and scared to go home, I was a kid with the big kids, breakin all the rules. I shed tears with my bigger sister over the years we was cryin then the other little kids. And even though we had different problems the same drama when things went wrong we blame brother. I reminisce on the stress I caused, it was hell huggin from my mama from a jail cell. And who thinkin elementary hey I see the penitentiary one day. Runnin from the police that’s right brother caught me put a whopping to my back side. And even as a crack theme brother you always was a savage kind, brother. I finally understand it ain’t easy tryin to raise a kid. You always was commuted a drug dealin brother on welfare. Tell me how ya did it there’s no I can pay you back but the plan is to show you that I understand you are appreciated. Now ain’t nobody tell us it was fair no love from my mama cause the woman wasn’t there. She passed Way and I didn’t cry because my anger wouldn’t let me feel for a stranger. Say I’m wrong and I’m heartless but all along I was looking for a mother she was gone. I hung around with the thugs even though they sold drugs they showed a young sister love.
