Hey, I just read the book. I completely agree with you that the beginning of the book was really promising, but then it fell of. I mostly enjoyed the the teen story. Anyways, can you recommend me a non fiction book to read. ( something that came out soon )

Sounds like you need a brain shower after reading Disgrace... I hear you on that one. 84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff should do the trick! Truly a charming story if ever there was one :) I just watched your review of Jane Eyre. Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys is a novella that Rhys wrote specifically to give a background story to the crazy woman in the attic. Takes place in 1830's Jamaica and reflects the mores of that time, so that alone is pretty rough. I enjoyed your review! I won't be bothering with that one.

Thank you, I'm going to check the book out! Charing Cross, that is. As for Sargasso Sea - I already have it! Haven't read it yet, but it's on my (very long) TBR list.
