Here's problems with game: bad anticheat, bad management, bad balancing, bad matchmaking, destroyed economy, too many gun to the point its more than almost any rpg game, and way too p2w and finally, poor optimization. There's more but these are the big ones. I give this game 4 months (my vet badge will be 7 years) and if pg3d doesn't fix atleast 2 of these issues, I'm done.

Less actually, we used to get 5 pass weapons per update and one of them is free to get but its no longer the case and seasonal update trader van sets but its been years since we last got one, and sometimes we even get 5 weapons lottery set. The amount of fan weapons they received in discord is alot and they could legit create a full set of traders van guns along with 5 lottery/ pass weapons.

Its disappointing how they didn't make seasonal van guns and 5 whole lottery weapons and 5 pixel pass weapons. Hey Mint, as a known Top clan leader i have to add these issues too. The clans 3.0 war system is a complete mess too. Tasks are bugged , the system doesn't requires skill , clans right know are abusing Alts for winning the wars and that's completely unfair for the clans are playing fairly. The clan community didn't wanted a Clan system change in 2.0 era we all just wanted new extra features not the entire system change but they did it. Even all the hate and asking to the devs to revert it they didn't... Top clans like Waterfall , Obey , TK Ottomans, Syndicate ( my clan) , Armada ect. We all begged to them to revert it. Thanks to this the clan 3.0 system killed Armada , most of the clans got more inactive because of the lazy system , alt abuse ruined many clans and the devs insisting on this system while everyone is begging to them to revert... Now as a player from 2014 i quit this game 11 months ago because of this i literally tried my best to make the devs seeing me, even Eckosoldier saw me but the devs insisted on ghosting us and not answering about it. Even in the latest podcast they did they didn't even mentioned clans. I felt so disrespected and disappointed about it. Right now they are talking about a possible clans 4.0 but it's too late now. Most of the top clans won't come back me either. If pg3d keeps doing like this the game is going to die soon.

Totally agree with you, I've been in the same clan for 2 years since I started, the clan respected me, and my old leader has retired and made me the leader and then I retired as leader, even though it wasn't a top clan, in the old system I was able to obtain 40k valor, but the new system killed me, my clan and everyone else, it's not just top clans but other clans as well, new clan system doesn't 'have a challenge at all, and we are limited to such amount of reward now that f2p just doesn't exist in pixel gun anymore

As a top 50 grinder, ranked tournament is astonishingly FLAWED. Here's why: Matchmaking. For a "ranked" mode, you'd expect to be matched with other players in similar ranks for fair matches but NOPE. I'm in rank 9 with 8.5k trophies but consistently get matched up with people below 1k trophies. But that's not even the worst part yet, which is: IT PUTS YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ONGOING MATCH. Often I get put in a deathmatch with 2 OUT OF 4 MINUTES remaining, and I'm forced to try to overtake everyone to at least #3 with a gigantic disadvantage joining this late. The problem is even worse in team gamemodes where winning also depends on your teammates. The worst case scenario I've had so far is: I joined a flag capture game with half the time remaining and we're losing 0-5. My two teammates are unranked and rank 1. While the FOUR enemies are rank 5 and above. Needless to say there's no chance to win and I lost 45 trophies, and I couldn't leave the match right then and there either because I'll ALSO lose 45 trophies.

Same as you, Returned to the game after an 8 month break (the longest break I took, or 2nd longest) It was nice at first, game ran very well and was good to experience on PC. Over the next few weeks, I only got more and more annoyed. Less progression, hackers, (also I don't like clans 3.0) I wasn't even playing the game for fun at that point, it just felt like a mini job. And I like to play games for fun, this game wasn't it anymore and I quit after a month. I really tried to enjoy it but I just can't. I almost want my account to get banned, just so I wouldn't have a reason to return. I've spent 100-200$ since I started in 2017, wouldn't care still. I do want the game to improve, but even if it did Idk if I would return. Maybe.... maybe if 2.0 comes back, that was the main reason for me playing the game.

Hey! Good video and also some more information about the clan system issue... I'm a member of one of the (not anymore) top clans, Kazanryu, and our community is very relaxed and we used to grind a good amount. We have no hackers and no botters and are genuine players. Unfortunately most of us have now been forced to retire the clan and the game, because no matter what we tried, theres nothing we could do. The majority of top high end clans are botters or even hackers, or just abuse bot lobbies, as I have experienced myself by accidentally joining one once, and it just leads to a really unfun environment. Game definetly needs a reworking

Its not true that there isnt any anti cheat, they just only target players who hack currency. Ive spend about 300 euros on pixel gun and I still couldnt compete because of modules, insanely low chances of getting a good item in chests, pay to win weapons etc. So when pc released i decided to mod my account since i kept getting destroyed by players with more money or other hackers. I have never used aimbot or any cheats in a game because i do not want to ruin the experience for others, so nobody has ever reported me. That means the anti cheat only bans players who have too much currency and not aimbotters. I think that shows the developers only care about money and they dont care what actually happens in the game. Both my accounts got banned and I accept the consequences of cheating, but I think it is partly pixel guns fault for forcing players to cheat if they want to compete in this sh*tty economy they have created. There is no other way to get the best loadouts without spending an insane amount of money.

Hey Mint, by the way there's another issue involving clans and yeah, you may ask "Who cares about clans?" well, me. Have you wondered why it's always the same clans that stay in top 10? Because if they see another new clan reaching the top, they spam report until it gets banned. This happened to my clan 3 times. It's so frustrating when you try to build a very strong clan with active grinders just by suddenly getting deleted because other clans reported you.

Im glad to hear you talking about this Granted i dont watch your youtube channel at all, but ive played this game for 8 years and ive had many of the same gripes as you What sent me over the edge was the intergalatic treasurer event (when the weapon wasnt balanced) Extremely grind heavy for higher level players and super easy for lower level players (due to the fact bot lobbies are littered throughout for low levels) Because of this for the first time in awhile i experienced heavy burnout with the game, which i dont have often Im glad you still talked about this bro, keep up the good work and i hope your channel continues to grow✊ Edit: im soooo glad you talked about mods. When mods first came out the best level i got them to was level 5-7 give or take for the elements and the sub “elements”. Mods are overpowed and dominate between simply having a mythic versus having a mythic or even epic weapon with level 10 mods on it. The mods themselves now are so hard to get, silver is expensive if your not in a active clan (thats even if your clan has black market) and theres no other way to earn silver besides clan wars making them a trump card to both new and veteran players alike Also i didnt know the skins give you buffs on steam. One thing that destroys players is the matchmaking in earlier levels you get matched with bots who are so easy to kill so once you enter level 50 you camt keep up with the max lvl one shot gun spammers and 5 cats the game doesnt prepare you for that at all

The effects from the skins aren't just for battle royale btw, they do have them in any other game mode, for example, wave pulser's pretty much a oneshot regardless of module level if you take into account the skin's poison damage which is quite high, probably the highest in the game.

I remember when in 2014-2016 weapons had star ratings (up to 3 stars per per weapon ) some had one and some two. Upgrading your star rating on a gun made it better and sometimes changed the appearance of the gun . Soon after the efficiency rating was added where you had to upgrade your weapon every time you leveled up, that’s where it all went downhill…

It is p2w on Android too, because the amount of grind (ads/tasks/challenges/play) you need to do to afford stuff is INSANE. Many hours a day. Also, stuff like the Spicy Crab Roll is literally impossible to get f2p even if you DO have 11.000 gems, because the total cost of all guns in van is less than that. Set event, armoury buys and so on do not count. THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THEIR PROFIT MODEL: The new owners insist on trying to profit from making it impossible to compete unless you get the newest stuff. It should be possible to compete right away! I grinded so hard just to get the stuff I needed to compete. And then they added PC, so I can't compete anyway.

as someone who was part of the old toxic "pro community" from 2017, it's been this way for a long time. Ever since update 8.0.0, which added armor, people starting making p2w claims. It felt like every other update after 10.0.0 was introducing a super op weapon. First the fire orb, then the ghost lantern, then the frost beam spell glitch, etc. and the introduction of gems, along with the terrible lag that wasn't fixed for I want to say almost a year is what caused a lot of the old players to leave the game, and it's actually why iOS planet took an extended break from the game, one of the most popular pg3d youtubers at the time. dude u say nothing has changed but we literally had free swipe spamming for years and the developers didn't do anything until it became to big of a problem to ignore. loved the video man.

As a unreal engine developer. I implemented keybinds without sweat. The pixel gun developers barely have any talent at this point. And most of the goodness of the game comes from its art style. Not the gameplay anymore. Times changed.

im a veteran whos played the game since 2014, and watching the developers kill the game i grew up with for years really saddens me. this game is really unfriendly to beginners, the matchmaking is insanely inconsistent, the prices of a lot of weapons, gadges and shop offers are way too high, and once you actually DO max out and reach lvl 65, there just isnt much to do. i still have the game installed so i can occasionally reminisce when i feel like it, but as the game is now? i can safely say i am retired and do not want to play this game in the current state its in.

I remember a good while back, like a few years, I somehow managed to get the minigun from clan crafting. It was all nice and great until one moment in time when I felt like the minigun was just worse than everything else. I didn't understood anything. "the gun that I used just started to suck". Don't remember exactly what I did, but in the end I just forgot about the game at all.

Pixel gun isnt "technically" pay to win , it is. Even before pc release. By spending money , you get an advantage. Its that simple. Its always ben this way in games where you upgrade equipment. You spend money for better stuff but face the same people. Its literally pay to win.

Bro I spent 4 days just grinding keys with my brain turned off in the parkour mode because I just couldn't keep up with everyone else, and always being under powered. At least in the parkour mode you are guaranteed to get 5 keys and some coins...I felt like I was a robot. I was getting done in under 2 minutes and 30 seconds every time in the parkour mode. I felt so depressed working like a robot. I now just check in once a day so I don't get kicked from my clan... The game is dead that just how I feel like for real. I am currently level 55 and it just sucks.

2:39 is exactly why i would just close the game on mobile every time I finished a match and my character wouldn’t collect XP. It also made trader vans back then way cheaper when you could spend coins in them (as for gems idk if they were cheaper or not)

I played back in 2013 when the game came out, but I quit after a few years because the friends I used to play with moved schools, so I had no one to play with. I came back in 2023 to a few of my weapons missing and a very different game. I hate the new leveling system for weapons, I think that should've never been added. I don't appreciate that they made most, if not all, of my weapons useless through the addition of the mythical rarity. I heard about a pc release coming, so I decided to put the game down and wait. Once it released on pc, I played for a day or two and dropped it again because it wasn't any better than the mobile version. The game seems more like a cash-grab than the game it used to be, and I'm severely disappointed.

The match making one is so true i was level 15 and i got in a game with someone that has lvl max op guns everything u name it i still somehow beat him time to time but i eventually quit the game the matchmaking has to go bro I've been playing this game for years restarting my lvls over and over again aint gonna help my experience match making me into max level Lobbys and dont get me started with my ranked teammates i lost 8 times in a row and i was always had the most kills PIXEL GUN 3D FIX UR DARN GAME😭😭🙏🙏🙏
