Thanks Abbi, I think it through exactly like you did. This wasn't needed. Tom is consistent and genuine so this song was not needed. Topher sounded jealous and it wasn't a good look for him.

Yes because the focus should be on the person who stands against whats destroying our very lives. Tom either doesn’t know or he doesn’t wanna say it. Both either way dissolves the energy by breaking it up from what is the ultimate truth.

I definitely don’t see it as a diss. I just don’t think it’s the lane Tom wants to be in. Tom is more about uncovering truth, but that doesn’t mean that he’ll jump into a pure conservative stance. In the end I think it’s something of a red herring. None of us can ever really know what’s in someone’s heart and mind. Even if Tom decided to answer, it’d be just as easy to say “he’s being disingenuous”, obviating his response, then what’s the point? If I was to place my bets, I think Tom is genuine in his messaging mainly because his business sense is aware enough to know he could have gone a different route and gotten richer on orders of magnitude over what he’s got now. My 2¢.

I agree. It seems like he is just frustrated that he doesn't have as strong of an influence as Tom when he feels like he has a better moral drive behind his songs, but that would be ridiculous, because we all are just searching for the truth. If I understood Topher right, he downplays the significance of Tom's story of getting sober and fighting addiction, which allows him to be so relatable to such a diverse set of people.

Before anybody says I hate Tom, back up because I do like Tom. I also like Topher, because for one he can rap, and for two he fought for our freedoms, or rights, and our country. He was Air Force and also was part of Space Force. Topher said in the video that this isn't a diss it's an open letter. He said at the beginning of the song that everybody was coming at him about doing a song with Tom, so he made this to see if they had the same vision I guess, like will he fight for the rights he has. He isn't coming behind anyone for clout. Tophers point basically boils down to when the shit hits the fan, are you going to be there to fight...actually fight. The fbi was about the song "The Patriot" which came out December 2020 and when the raid on the capital happened they pulled the song from every streaming service. The fbi went to his house because they said he caused the raid. He doesn't just rap about politics and he doesn't need to ride Tom's coattails to get views, he has a lot of fans too, and he didn't drop this song because he needed to use Tom's name because he was dropping a new album, he wasn't dropping anything at this time except this song. But like I said to start with, Topher just basically asked if Tom would stay and fight for this country and rights or would he just leave and go back to Canada. He knows that Tom can't vote, that is the whole reason he ask that. Because a lot of people think that you can't talk about the issues and how they haven't done anything to fix them. You didn't vote so you don't have a voice.

you can tell yourself this was not a dis but yes it was he was chasing clout right after he dropped this song he went live and said he was dropping a new record and the fbi did not go to Topher's house he was asked that in the live and he said no they did not he said he just said that because someone told him that they were coming but no the fbi did not go to Topher's house when you are doing a song that puts people in a bad light it is a dis he can say it's not but he knows it was Topher does not like Tom if you have ever seen Topher's tweets you would know he has been trashing Tom forever on twitter Tom just does not respond to dumb A$$ES on twitter anymore and that is why Topher said you ignoring me does not make me wrong Topher does not have anywhere close to the fan base that Tom has and that is what he is mad about and he lost a lot of fans with this dis on Tom and who is Topher to say Tom can't speak on things because he can't vote Tom has lived in this Country for 10 years he is more American then most who are born here Tom was not bothering Topher so Topher just needs to mind his own business and not worry about what Tom is doing someone on twitter got into a back and forth with Topher about going after Tom and I don't recall Topher's exact response but it was basically I was $hitting on Tom before you became my fan and I will be doing it after you leave and the part he put in the dis about Tom putting his life back together he did not mean that prior to this song Topher trashed Tom on twitter about his addiction and mental health say he does not feel sorry for him that he did it to himself and when Loza accused Topher of stealing his song title Topher said no I did not that this dis was finished 4 mounts ago which would be 3.5 mounts before Tom did Don't look Down so that was another lie so I say all that to say yes this was a DIS
