If would be useful to see the pieces on you without the high heels and unhemmed trousers, so that us petites who don't wear heels can actually see how they would fit and if they would be overwhelming on a small frame whilst wearing flats

Agree! I usually wear lots of flats (ballet, loafers, low heel boots l, etc.). I find high heels uncomfortable.

I got the Elodie Marie Janes in the same color this week and was debating whether to keep them but after seeing them on you I definitely will!! I have a similar Mary Jane in brown from Sézane that is open in the back that I wore so much in the spring and summer. This one feels a bit tighter but I think it’s because it is brand new. I wore one in each foot to compare and the one I wore all summer is now so soft and comfortable so I am hoping the same will happen with the elodie. 🤞
