Not all societies tbh. Miss France 2022 is 24 but she looks at least 30. Bella hadid was named the prettiest face but she looks a decade older, if looking like a child was desirable then We wouldn’t see women wanting curvy bodies, big asses, big tits, and contouring their faces to get a sharp jawline, hollow cheeks, and high cheekbones which are features that are far away from being childlike. Baby face is sometimes an insult in my country. Youth is preferred but by youth they mostly mean 20-25 not looking like a kid. Jennie’s visual is worshipped in Asia more because they love baby faces, but Lisa is mostly loved internationally because she have more mature features despite being the Maknae. Plus jennie is not 100% baby faced. She’s famous because she have both neotoneous features ( her round face, chubby cheeks, small chin) and mature features ( narrow almond shaped eyes and plump lips), people talk literally more about her sexy cat eyes. If she was 100% baby faced, or 100 womanly, then her visual wouldn’t stand out at all.

Studies have shown that humans unconsciously find attractive what looks like a good mating partner, that will be fertile, live long and age well. The standard here is dark/tan skin, extremely heavy counture, heavy eye makeup, lips with fillers paired with a nude lipstick (very much like how Kardashians look lol) Jennie doesn't look much older with makeup on and it's usually used to enchance her natural features, but here in Serbia almost every girl looks at least 10 years older than her actual age cuz of very heavy makeup.

You sounds like you have a 'horse' type face :0 I can't recall female idols rn but if I'm not mistaken Suho from Exo has that type of face and is a visual. Though you might also have puppy-like features due to your downturned eyes. If your eyes are really prominent, then you would probably be puppy type. I have similar features overall (downturned eyes, oval face and longer midface), but I'm more of a puppy type because my eyes are the most prominent feature while the rest are subtle.

She might as well be. The “Visual” title doesn’t really mean much in BLACKPINK. At best it means Jisoo comes closest to fitting some perceived Korean beauty standard. Yet considering how global these idols are, it isn’t important. The Visual of the group used to have more significance in Kpop bands with a larger number of members. Where most were scouted with talent as the primary concern and beauty secondary, yet then someone might make the cut based primarily on their looks but enough talent to get by. Those were meant to be the visual draw to get the group noticed. BP doesn’t need that because they are all extremely beautiful with the talent to match. Not to mention they exploded into popularity straight out of the gate, so they didn’t need the crutch of any individual visual to get attention and gain traction.

Interesting - I think I do something similar for myself. :) I am not Asian, and nowhere near as stunning as her. (If anything, I am on a constant glow up journey). But with curly hair (that frizz easily), a strange combination of both masculine, feminine and childish features, and a pair of glasses. I find that it is 'easier' for me to pull off more 'sexy' clothing items, without it coming off as too much. But I also like to mix these 'sexy' items with something more casual, and sometimes 'cute' on everyday basis. But without the 'sexy' item, I tend to look childish.

Tbh, it's subjective. Both Jisoo and Jennie are beautiful but it took me some time to appreciate their beauty. The most beautiful and eye-catching, for me, is Rosé. So yeah, the beauty ideal is influenced by society's standard but we also have our personal preferences. There is no "absolute" beauty that fits all tastes, even if that beauty feets the beauty standard of the moment.
