Even tho I'm South Asian, my facial features match to the cancasian from one of those pictures but I really like east Asian make up style and I'm quite intermediated to try make up especially eye makeup since I already quite prominent eyes and my cousin said eye makeup doesn't look good on me. I hadn't thought about hooded eyes tending to have a down turned look. Mine are hooded and slightly upturned, but because the highest point of my upper lashline part is slightly away from the midpoint of my eye, they still hace a very elongated and slanted look to them. This explains why a lot of tips for hooded eyes don't work for me at least

@@DirigiblePlum you are very odd. brown asians exist, and there are plenty of them. as a southeast asian, i have to modify many of peachie's tips to suit my features, and i don't even qualify as brown skinned. peachie does include darker complexions in her vids, but she still focuses primarily on east asians. people, especially other asians, can still have an issue with that. your frustration is misplaced, and it feels like you don't know that much about asians in the first place lmao

I really want to start doing makeup (I'm 15yo) and I don't know what style fits me and what products I need to buy, this channel helps me a lot!! (I always like natural style of makeup but maybe other styles fits me better! Sorry if I made any mistakes in my english 💗)

It's good to try other styles once in a while, but at your age, I think you should stick to natural makeup for daily wear. You can accentuate your facial features without your makeup looking too heavy! Try to learn natural contour to improve your facial structure, and use nude, pinkish, or peachy shades for eyeshadow.

That's the same age I started getting into makeup, and now I've found what I am comfortable with after experimenting the past ~2 years. I would highly recommend dear peachie's makeup archetype video to figure out your style and what would suit you. It was very helpful for me,I figured out I'm a natural (although I also prefer Ingenue and Classic looks) and I can see now that less makeup compliments my features the best and actually makes me look more put-together and stunning (I still do soft glam for special occasions but natural all the way!). I would also *highlyy* recommend Haley Kim on YT for natural makeup tips and starter kits for beginners, she and dear peachie are my life saviors when it comes to beauty and Haley is the natural makeup queen imo. Also you're gorgeous btw and your english is perfect

Can you please post a video on what to do when your thirds are out of balance? My lower third is 1/5 longer than my upper and mid thirds. I don't know what to do. It's not because of my chin, my philtrum is long but my chin is twice as long as my philtrum.

You could try overlining your lip, and maybe shading a little bit under your nose and over your lip too (to shorten the philtrum). Darken the tip of your chin, since it's also long. You can try finding the middle of your 2 bottom thirds combined and do your cheekbone contour a little under it, to make your middle third longer. Also, hightlight your 2 upper thirds vertically (the middle of your forehead, of your nose and under the eyes) to make them longer. I hope it helps and that it's not confusing, haha. Not my first language.

Try letting the offending parts dry on really large curlers. And I really mean large. The ones, that are like 2" in diameter. They're easy to put in and it will result in mostly straight hair with a very soft wave/bent on the end, basically like carefully blow dried hair. That way, your hair will look more uniform, but you won't get heat damage on already frizzy hair. And apply some mousse or something before, as that will prolong the style.
