Awsm tutorial 🙌 Error Pls help I have added my sha-1 and sha-256 fingerprints. However, when I click on send otp, the terminal of my vs code says that they could not generate the otp. Why is this error occurring ? My sha1 and sha256 fingerprints are correct. I connected Firebase and flutter using flutter fire cli in my VS Code terminal. The phone verification is enabled on my Firebase console. Yet, it’s showing that it cannot be connect when I click on send otp on my emulator.

Asalam o Alikum Our mbl app authentication was working perfect but then suddenly we are getting an error called VERIFICATION FAILED An internal error has occurred [Error code: 39] We have tried every possible method to resolve this issue. If you could help it will be so nice of you. Looking forward to hear from you soon.

check your firebase account and its phone authentication, may be issue from there, i didn't face this type of issue. (and for new created firebase created accounts, you can't use phone number authentication in free plan, you have to enable billing, switch to blaze version. I think its been implemented from 1 sept 2024 not sure about exact date.)

@@ashhadahmed72 by default, your plan is spark, which will not allow you to use the SMS verification. Upgrade it to blaze and for billing, you can try connect it with your google cloud billing (if you have one). It won't charge you unless you use more than the quota, which is 10times/day. Hope that helps!

same i got stuck in this error and I have contacted firebase support and the response was this sadly authentication now required blaze plan, its no longer available on spark plan anymore it is stated that without Blaze Plan enabled you will no longer be able to use the Phone Authentication service, which means that adding a payment method to your project is now a prerequisite to be able to use the service.
