This is a genre often called "Larger than Life" films. It narrates the story like an Epic using fantastical elements of Epic genre. Happy Birthday. Colonialism and neo-colonialism are still with us. RRR does the best job of portraying the atrocities of colonialism as tastefully as possible. This isn't just a movie. It's art history. The songs are not music videos, they are a portrayal of emotions, as are the heightened strength of the heroes, eg, the drive/anger against the colonizing brutality, or that of a true friendship etc. You did a good job. This one is a south indian movie, in Telugu language (Tollywood). Unfortunately Netflix doesn't have it in its original language. Wherever possible try to watch these movies in their original language, most times it will be available on Netflix. There are several south indian industries producing top quality movies, all of these are on Netflix.

We have Bollywood, 2 Tollywoods one is in South (has largest film city in the world) one in East , Kollywood, Mollywood, Tamil , Punjabi , Marathi, Odisha , Assamese etc. Actually India has 22 official language and every one of them have their own film industry.
